I've been nervous about this game since Keith's suspension. I really hope nobody on the Nucks goons it up and takes a filthy run at one of our players. Keith will probably deserve it if he gets it but i hope its not one of the big 4 especially.
In the future, and this goes to everyone that makes GDT's...please do not slander team names or players in the thread titles. That just invites trolls, which we don't need. I know some other teams do that, but we're going to be better than that.
Back to the task at hand. Lu is coming off a shutout and in the past he has stoned us in the regular season. It will be key to get an early goal on him. We can’t be doing those half-hearted scoring attempts that we saw against Wild. That will just get Lu’s confidence up … but rather we need more like the go-to-the-net goal by Shaw thanks to Bickell’s determination. And no cheap penalties. I figure specialty teams may be the deciding factor in this game.
Would be lying if I said I wasn't amped for this one. Last time I heard Nucks fans talk this much crap about getting 'payback' on someone was Buff after he ran Luongo in '09 which worked out pretty well for us into the future.
Anyway, I'd love to pepper Luongo and make him fall apart. This is a guy you crash the crease on and stand in front of all day. If you get in his head, you get the puck in the net.
BTW, we need a prediction game thread.

Ugh, prior obligations mean I can't watch this until tomorrow. Expecting a 5-2 win from the Hawks! Canucks will be out for blood and will take several stupid penalties.

What I find funny is that the 'nucks fans think Keith is a coward because he won't fight his own fights blah blah blah. Wasn't it Daniel who threw the elbow first? Shouldn't Daniel be throwing down? MOD
