Anyone else notice that Ward had different pads in the Buffalo game than the other games he played so far this season. What's up with that?

Now that you mention it, yes. Although the pads from the Buffalo game are the same as the pads he wore in FLA for the opener.

Cam with the Vaughn pads with the solid red stripe against FLA.

Cam with the same Vaughn pads from the home Buffalo game.

Cam with the silver and red "swooshes" on the Vaughn pads, from the Boston game.

Let's hope Corvo can play OK against his old team, he usually does... That's gotta be the only reason he's in over Sangs, right?

Oh, and that's because those are Cam's special pad stacking pads.

He's wearing two different sets of pads this season - one with the standard Velocity V5 graphics and one with vintage graphics (the ones he wore against the Sabres). He also wore them against the Panthers and it looks like he's alternating between the two sets:

@ Florida (1/18/13) - vintage graphics
vs. Tampa Bay (1/22/13) - standard graphics
vs. Buffalo (1/24/13) - vintage graphics
vs. Boston (1/28/13) - standard graphics

Ellis in, Nodl in for Westgarth, Faulk in for Sanguinetti.

Surprised Corvo is playing, but I'm guessing Sanguinetti will be back in tomorrow rather than playing Corvo consecutive nights.

Tonight would be a great night for Semin's wrister to wake up.

I agree, we need to draw a lot of penalties and convert on at least a third of them...

I love Moe's, and have now officially decided to avoid the location referenced.

If HT decides to do player-themed specialty sandwiches again this year, we can have the Semin Special... heavy on the mayo.

This will be the first time the sandwich has been a hot dog, too.
