Judging from how quickly he seems to return from injuries, I'm not even sure Pacioretty is aware that they have no-contact jerseys.

There are two ice rinks at the practice complex, when team practice starts, usaully the injuried players go on the 2nd rink to skate.

I think he MIGHT be back on Wednesday vs the Bruins. No way he plays this Saturday imo.

That of course is more realistic.

Yeah and even then I think the game after the Bruins would be more ideal considering how physical those games can get.

6 days and he's full practice? He will probably be ready to play tomorrow, but you I would guess Therrien holds him back till Sunday!

I assume there is a medical opinion that is needed before he can play. This
might be the sort of situation where MaxPac thinks he is good to go, but the
doctor prefers to play it safe. So that makes this weekend unlikely.

He'll be back on the 9th, I believe. He'll most likely practice full-contact by wednesday or thursday, but no reason to rush his comeback.

It's still a damn great achievement. There is so much more physical stress on a skater than a goalie when it comes to internal damage.

apparently the medical staff is leaving it up to Pacioretty...when he feels good to go, he'll go

I don't think he'll play tomorrow or Sunday...he wasn't that active at practice. Wednesday against Boston seems more likely.

And even though he was in a ''normal'' jersey, which indicates he can take contact, there were few drills involving contact today.

Still great to see him out there so quickly.

We already knew he was a warrior. We could use him in the lineup this weekend.

Pacioretty is above human level. Injuries don't seem the phase him like they should. Warrior. If he plays this weekend that'd be great.

I reckoned, based on his history, that he'd be back early. But skating already? This man's immune system must be studied!

Bruins fan coming in peace -- actually to give props to Pacioretty.

I just read on TSN that he's already practicing after appendectomy. He's a freak of nature!
