They're on the tail end of a back to back and are either starting a back up or a guy that got shelled last night.

They're going to come out hard, but if we're patient and steady we come out with a win.

Winnipeg's second game of a back-to-back, our power play can make or break this game (I'm anticipating a lot of PP chances). Go Lightning!

Based on threads from the main board from just this past week, this is only the 2nd "real" team we have played. Caps, Islanders, Canes, Flyers and Panthers are either the "worst team" in the league, "really bad" or should "blow it up" apparently.

Regardless we should be able to win this but after the Jets losing to the Panthers last night they will be looking to bounce back so it should be close 5-3 Win.

Go

Jets lost to the kitties last night. They're gonna be playing their ***** off. If the Bolts let up it could get ugly. If they play a full game (gee they can actually do that), should be a win.

This game should be a good one. Anyone else going to the forum tonight?

These SE games are the most important ones, would be great to build further distance to the other SE teams.

Tampa Bay Lightning ‏@TBLightning
Bolts haven't lost in reg. time against Winnipeg/Atlanta since 4/11/09, going 8-0-1 during that stretch.

That can't be right. That was the end of the 2008-2009 season and we play them 6 times a year, right? 6 (09-10) + 6 (10-11) + 6 (11-12) = 18. 8-0-1 is only 9 games. Am I missing something here?

They forgot, "at home".

If we win this game we have a healthy 5 point lead already in the division.

It's my birthday so id love that as a present!!

Thanks for clarifying that.
5 Point lead with one less game played than 2nd place team in the division.
Happy birthday!

Hopefully Lindback gets a longer break after today, I'm not that happy about the many starts he got in a row

Really? I love it. We've had one of the better schedules early in the season, so he's been able to get his rest. This let's him know he's #1, get used to NHL speed and shooters, and get comfortable with the guys he has out there with him. You need chemistry on your team, and with a new goaltender, this gives him a shot to create some early.

Bobby Taylor was the guest today on Marek vs. Wyshynski.
http://www.sportsnet.ca/podcast/marek_wyshynski/

Chief indicated that tonight's game as well as the next one with the Rangers would be sold out.

Listen to the archive of it when it goes up but Chief had some very interesting insights into Guy Boucher, and quite a bit of it was stuff I remembered us talking about.

Here's to a good game tonight Bolts fans.

Basically if your team is given any power plays you will most likely win the game. Jets PK is beyond futile and Pavelec has looked pretty weak thus far.

Good luck.

Try not to beat us to badly, Jets haven't cared about this road trip yet and I don't think they'll start tonight. Enjoy the 2 points.

I just realized Lee is our only minus player at -3.

Salo (+10) and Hedman (+8) are far ahead of everybody (Conacher's +5 is 3rd on the team). Carle with a surprising +0, Brewer "just" +1, too.

That shows you how amazing of a pair Salo and Hedman are...

and also how much of a plug Brian Lee is. I never thought I'd say this, but when is Mikkelson coming back? Hell, let's scratch Lee for MAB at this point.
