Vince McMahon requires legitimate hip surgery

Quote:
WWE CEO Vince McMahon legitimately requires hip surgery, according to the Wrestling Observer.

To write McMahon off television during WrestleMania season, WWE had Brock Lesnar deliver his F5 finisher to McMahon on Monday's Raw.

WWE's fictional injury report to explain McMahon's absence is that he suffered a "broken hip."

The storyline write-off also allows Triple H to return to television as McMahon's replacement to feud with Lesnar leading to WrestleMania
Source: PWTorch

Props to McMahon for taking that bump then.

if you notice when he landed, Brock put him on his side, as opposed to face first....most likely on his "good hip"

McMahon shouldnt even be on TV anymore taking part in anything significant

All he does now a days is come out, use his power and bully people around

gotta love WWE's anti-bullying policy!

Remember 6 months ago when he was written out of TV forever and relieved of all his power?

"I'm sorry pops"

We need a HHH face with that on it.

When HHH finally takes over 100%, think there will be a changing of the guard in terms of Main Event wrestlers as the current crop is aging and will need some new blood in the scenes.

I never watch anymore, but that's the idea I gather from reading here all the time.

That was more like a year and a half ago.

Maybe while Vince is gone recovering from hip surgery we'll finally see what HHH/Steph are capable of. Shame it's during WM season, because if it were post-WM, we'd probably see many guys pushed hard.

WWE logic.

I really don't care for the post-Austin era Vince at all. First off, he is kind of a lousy performer as he over-exaggerates everything he says and his body language/movements. Second, as stated earlier, the lack of respect he shows to the wrestlers who made him rich and continue to do so. Finally, it really just kills the memories I have of him at the announce table with Bobby & Jessie as a kid. To think the guy with such energy and enthusiasm would channel that into being the biggest ***** possible with a ridiculous swagger walk entrance to the ring is sobering. He truly looks and acts clinically insane. I hope he is gone from WWE television for a while.

It was a lot more than 3 weeks. It was like 4 months, and it was the board of directors who removed HHH as the day to day leader of raw.

If only Steph was pregnant again, HHH might have to resort to asking Heyman for help.

Smarks.

If it wasn't for Vince, wrestling wouldn't be on national TV today.

Ha, not a smark at all but thanks.

I'm not taking away anything he did. I'm pointing out he has no respect.

1) It was less than 3 months....Vince was removed in mid July, HHH removed in mid October. Still not long enough considering the sendoff given to Vince where they basically acted like he was thrown out of his own company.

2) Why would a guy who was removed from power and basically fired come back to "deliver the message" from the board of directors?

It was stupid, plain and simple, which means it made perfect sense to Creative and Vince.

no not you. many people do. the amount of disrespect many of the older wrestlers get around here is appaling. Do some of em hang around longer then they should? probably. I cant imagine its easy walking away for many of the older guys.

The original plan was to have Vince form a heel stable lead by Nash, Miz, and Truth, and have them fight Triple H's team at Survivor Series. But they pulled the plug at the last minute.
