Well, I recall right when Boucher came to the team he said he'd adapt to the players he had, but Chief notes that last season it seemed to be more the players adapting to the coach's system.
I remember us talking about how it seemed Boucher wasn't really bending a whole lot when he didn't have the guys on the backend to pull off the style of game he wanted played. Gary Boucher basically.
Chief noted that Boucher has made progress in adapting to the guys he has.
Huge game tonight, but I predict much of the same when we last faced a team coming off a game the previous night. Lightning wins 5-2. Let's got Lightning!!!
I'm surprised to see Lindback get the start again. I thought one of Yzerman or Boucher said that he and Garon would be splitting time, or battling for the number one spot. Not that he hasn't played well, though.

Also, just hit the big one post milestone!
Yeah I though Garon would get the start today and Lindback tomorrow vs the Rangers.
But maybe we see Garon tomorrow?

I think he learned some guys will just never work in the type of system he plays. When someone mentioned signing Arnott, I just shook my head.
Basically if your team is given any power plays you will most likely win the game. Jets PK is beyond futile and Pavelec has looked pretty weak thus far.
Good luck.

The jinx is on!
Seriously though, the Jets seem like a team that always has a good chance at winning any game. Maybe not so much now that Byfuglien and Bogo are out... :/
That shows you how amazing of a pair Salo and Hedman are...
and also how much of a plug Brian Lee is. I never thought I'd say this, but when is Mikkelson coming back? Hell, let's scratch Lee for MAB at this point.
Lee is starting to play better, making some good plays out there. Really, he's a #6 Dman who had a long offseason... I'm willing to keep him out there for now.
Everyone needs to relax on Lee a bit. Yes the penalties have been pretty bad but a couple were questionable calls. He's a -3 but has been on the ice on a few occasions were the fowards think they can make no look passes or not backcheck. He has started to look a lot better last two games.
