I know, this is not the type of thread associated with hockey but let me explain....
While visiting my late Fathers' grave to place some flowers recently, I happened upon none other than Danny Gallivans grave, very nearby. No flowers or adornments to the site so each time I visit Dad now I also leave a flower for Danny.
URGENT: Sound Bars or Home Cinema recommendations!
Guys and Gals....Quick need of your input. Though it will have to be quite fast, I'm heading out in 1 hour or so.
What are your recommendation for soundbars or home cinema? I don't want to pay more than 600$ for it. Just bought a HDTV and now want to add some sound to it. Yeah, I know, Bose cinemate at 1600$ is great...but it is just that....1600$. Not interested. So what else? And under 600$ please. If you know where.....would be fun also.
Sorry, short notice but if you can, it will be appreciated. Places could be in Montreal, North Shore or Laval, I don't care.
I know it's late, WS, but honestly Klipsch and Bose in that order are the ones that I truly enjoy. Some Klipsch can fit under your budget.

Best buy is suggesting me a Klipsch Iconduo at 599.99$. While I am also tempted by the Bose Cinema GS series that I will have for 749.99$. Not sure which I should go for. Polk Audio IHT 4000 at 299.99 is surprisingly good for the sound as well.
"The way I roll"? You can't translate this literally if it's what you're asking
Yah, pretty much what I'm asking. I haven't spoke french beyond the simple talk in a year and a half and I came up with that while talking to someone. I knew immediately it felt off but they didn't say anything.
Share with us some of your Habs related stories. Best memories, first game etc...
I haven't been to a Habs game yet ( f&ck me right?). Have moved to Canada just over 4 years ago and have been a Canadiens fan ever since. I've Started watching all game and following all the updates in the middle of the 10/11 season (:
- I was there during Pacioretty's surgery (appendix)
- the time I took a pic of my dermatically-challenged friend with PK Subban while having a burger
- when my girlfriend saw Louis Leblanc celebrate his draft (or was it his contract signing?) Alexandre-Daigle style on his front lawn
My only signature from a habs player is a jersey I use to wear when I was 5 signed by Gino Odjick, he's also the only player I got to meet face to face.
It also wasn't such a great face to face experience.

I probably have a ****tier story than you,
I met Patrick Poulin and got his autograph at a Burger King that he owned in Saint-Eustache when I was 8. Only player I've met in person.

I know that this is probably wrong thread for this, but i couldn't find any better one. I just saw the very first time this season's entrance(?) of the Montreal Canadiens and i have to say that it was awesome and best what i've ever seen.
But the real question is.. which are the songs played on that ceremonia? There was atleast 2 songs, maybe 3. Well you guys know it better anyway.
I tried to find that ceremony on Youtube, but found only one with a player presentation on it and it's not the same.
Do you mean the home opening ceremony with the torch?
There was a torch too and on the screen was first one people signing(?) and in the end it became a Canadiens logo etc. That was the first song and during the second song there was going highlights of the Canadiens' team.
