Was Neal struggling in Dallas before the trade?

Any player that comes to the Avs, until they get injured.

J.S. Gigeure? Stints in Hartford/Calgary before going to Anaheim and becoming a solid starting goalie.

Brad is great in transition and is a very good passing defenseman, especially his outlet passes. You don't play in Detroits top four without those attributes.

Once again. The grumbling contingent who thinks every d blows if he's not Nick Lidstrom. Memo to some. Not all players are perfect like Lidstrom.
Wow. I suggest you watch the Nashville series again. Stuart blew so many assignments it was scary. He was the worst dman Detroit put on the ice in that series. Try watching games objectively. When someone says a two way player that usually means they are an asset in the offensive zone. If you think Stuart is an asset in the offensive zone I really have nothing more to say to you.

Dan Hamhuis had struggled pretty badly his last two seasons in Nashville, falling into a fan whipping boy status. Seems like he's turned it around in VAN.

Mikhail Grabovski. Involved with the Kostitsyn Bros. in Montreal and they liked to keep suspect company. Once getting away from that drama he's built an impressive resume with Toronto

Isn't as the time that Giguere learned how to use an XXX large jersey?

Eric Cole is both an example and invert of this. Let's review!

Fantastic in Carolina
Awful in Edmonton
Somewhat rebound in Carolina
Absolutely deadly in Montreal
Terrible in Montreal

Seriously, man has no damn consistency.

Some people are really missing the point of this thread. Guys like Turris, Glencross, Lupul, etc were good before, but simply didn't get much recognition

I am not sure how Brierre was in Phoenix and what the issue was....he came to Buffalo and seemed to click.

There is a difference when there are depth issues/ice time issues and someone just not performing or had problems and needed a change.

Yeah, first one that came to mind for me. Pretty hilariously even trade, both with how the players were playing going into it and how they played after it. Ruutu has fallen off somewhat in more recent seasons, but that was a great trade for both players and both teams.

Somewhat recently involving the Flames.

To the Flames:

Tanguay
R. Bourque
Huselius
Kiprusoff
Hamrlik
A. Aucoin
C. Conroy (had 16 points in 52 games in his second season with the Kings)

From the Flames:
Lombardi: To Pheonix
Kobasew

Jaromir Jagr from the Caps to the Rangers.

Granted, his point totals with the Caps were still decent (Point per game)...his play with the Rangers was more along the lines of what one expected of him.

Beauchemin is a rock for the Ducks. He always has been. He was pretty bad for Toronto.
