agreed, or have one of these youngens just blow us all out of the waaater in an extrodinarily unlikely fashion...that would be acceptable as well.

I agree. I think Clitsome has shown he isn't all that reliable as the #7 option.

If we want to make the playoffs this should be something we target before (or at) the deadline.

I'm going to predict Clitsome gets waived when we have to get back under the roster limit, unless of course he remembers how to play again.

Bob mackenzie has said a couple of times that almost every team is trying to add defensive depth. Its going to be very costly I'd expect.

Uh oh.
I hope they're keeping him out as a precaution, so he can play tomorrow.

We all knew Bogo was out for at least a month. While I commend Chevy for signing two needs in jokinen and Poni', I was disappointed in him in not going after Redden for the 5th or 6th D spot on the team while Bogo healed. IT was apparent at the end of last season Clitsome was not the answer as a #6 or #7 defenseman.

We really don't know who Chevy has gone after to be fair.
As was pointed out earlier in the thread, the price of D-men is stupid high right now, I wouldn't give a ton away for a 5th dman.

True, but Redden came at a cheap $800,000. Money was not an issue in regards to signing him.

Great... our PP is going to be terrible.

It always feels like when I can actually watch a game the Jets lose, maybe I should cheer for Florida to jinx them?

My thoughts exactly. I really don't want to be the team paying a massive premium on a depth D man if the current rates are going to be too high.

He also signed with a contender, in a team with little media. Maybe he was only interested in signing with St. Louis.

I agree with this.
I am kings fan who has Buff in my fantasy pool so I came here to see what was up.
Jus tto add to your point, the kings reportedly went after Redden so it's not like the blues were his only option. I think he signed where he thought was the best fit for him.
Playing in Canada where there is a lot of media attention probably wasn't his first choice.

Not this season. Perhaps in the off-season.

According to Noel's scrum, Buff was injured sometime between the end of the Montreal game and the morning skate in FLA. Mysterious.

Here is a rumour spreader, caller called into TSN 1290 post game, said he wasn't far removed from the organization (TNSE) i'm assuming and said that Buff isn't injured and there is a bigger story to him.

Make what you want about it, but very mysterious situation indeed.

Clitsomitis? I kid, I kid. 1290 seems to want to stir the pot.

wtf is this? I've heard from noel buff reaggrivated a lower body injury during a morning skate. THe kane thing is stupid speculation. there was a look on his face, thus we're inferring there's ap roblem? ****ing ridiculous.

Yesterday the camera zoomed in on enstrom talking to himself. Thus enstrom is claerly having a mental breakdown, and is about to be placed on longterm injured reserve due to psychiatric instability.

see...i saw something on tv and jumped to a conclusion too, sounds pretty ****ing dumb doesnt it?
