I'm just watching the Michigan game on PVR and my word is Trouba ever a men amongst boys out there. Pretty unbelievable for a freshman. His nasty streak will serve the Jets very well whenever he makes the jump.

Where was this said, if it was in an article I'd be interested in reading it.

He said it on the broadcast last night. I think it was during the second intermission.

He was speaking with Dennis Beyak during the game telecast last night.

The comment during the conversation was because Tim Campbell is working on a prospect article , where he said they had 10 anonymous scouts evaluate prospects in each organization.

I think it was for the Hockey News , but once it is released we will see the links to it.

Good weekend for Jason Kasdorf. He posted back to back shutouts. Our freshman goalies are looking good.

So much for just being a "hometown pick".

In the middle of doing the AIH prospect tracker report for Jets' CHL players... 3 things that I noticed:

Lowry pts/gp
year 1: 0.68
year 2: 1.03
year 3: 1.32

Telegin pts/gp
year 1: 0.86
year 2: 1.03
year 3: 1.39

... creepy eh?

Also Machacek:
year 1: 0.71
year 2: 1.11

...interesting...

Jets CHL 5v5 goals
Scheifele 14 in 30 games
Kosmachuk 16 in 49 games
Olsen 13 in 51 games
Sutter 10 in 51 games

points aren't everything and of course a lot of info is missing just found this all very interesting...

To term that a good weekend is a massive understatement! No goals allowed over his past two games and he has given up just six goals over his last five games played.

Arctic Ice Hockey's Winnipeg Jets CHL Prospect Tracker has been posted.
Breaking down the point progressions - and some other stuff - of our CHL prospects.
I added a poll on the end to try and get fans feelings on the Sutter and Olsen situations. So please vote as I'm curious haha!

Well, I just don't get carried away with stats. After all he stopped all of 11 shots against Harvard for the SO.

Not sure if Kasdorf is getting the easy starts or something, but his stats compared to the other goalies on the team is quite stunning

Overall Goaltending Statistics
Name Year GP W L T Win% GA MIN GAA SHO SV SV%
Jason Kasdorf Fr 12 6 2 2 .700 16 667 1.43 83 2 271 .944
Bryce Merriam Sr 10 2 5 2 .333 26 558 2.79 58 0 235 .900
Scott Diebold So 7 2 4 1 .357 19 354 3.22 35 0 131 .873

http://www.uscho.com/stats/team/rens...key/2012-2013/

It's interesting since he had a very underwhelming season last year to the point were Des Moines (USHL) brought in another goalie mid-season to fix their goaltending. That's why I like the college/long term goalie projects the Jets have been drafting, goalies are hard to predict.

And why not, IMO at the very least I think has taken a big jump up our prospect rankings. Taking Postma out of the mix since it looks like he going to stick I would look at slotting him in the top 5 for the Jets. He seems to have a complete package to make it as an NHLer.

Well, nor do I get carried away with stats really; the point was more toward the body of his work versus individual game performance. As someone else stated he may be getting some protection via easier starts. Am unsure myself because I'm much more of a CHL follower versus college hockey.
