Lindgren's out another 8+ weeks

I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet (unless I missed it).

Lindgren had a re-occurence of the disc problem in his back and has to have the same surgery on his back that he had in september.

This puts him out untill at least febuary, and I think it's fairly possible that he won't play another game as a canuck again.

So what do we do with our centers now?

Morrison-Henrik-Kesler-Chubarov just doesn't cut it for me. Morrison is not playing half as well as he did last year, and none of the other 3 are much of an offensive threat. (Keane and Linden can also play center).

So without any trades, what do you think would be the most effective line combinations?

I'm stumped. I can't figure out how to get better lines out of these bunch of checking forwards we have.

Seems to me like he's not creating plays like he did last year. Nazzy and Bert seem to be doing all the work, and then he's picking up the 2nd assist or poking in the rebound.

But that isn't the point of the thread...

I would like to see the following lineup:

Naslund-Sedin-Bertuzzi
Sedin-Morrison-Linden
Cooke-Reid/Kesler-King
May/Arvedson-Chubarov-Keane/Ruutu

Why on earth would you want to break up the only checking line Crawford has ever been able to throw out?
Then again, right now Cooke is injured so the point is moot.
