I remember being in a girls bed one night and things got hot and heavy and I made the mistake of opening my eyes and on the ceiling was a NKOTB poster staring down at me... Was extremely uncomfortable, and I was even humming one of their tunes in my end.... By I quickly gathered myself and was able to achieve her desired effect on me...
Ummmm...in which end were you humming one of their tunes?
I know you meant head....but the slip is hilarious.
i got a 3 axis robotic system using independent amplifiers to work today; it's a significant costdown on the existing system in use at work, although the capabilities are admittedly lesser than the full blown system
more importantly than that, i did it as a tech demonstrator for a robot that i intend to bring to high schools and career fairs to show dudes and dudettes that my job is p cool, so i'm p stoked about it
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale is one of the best beers I have ever had, period... It really, really hits you though (well me, because Im a lush)... I drank two 4 packs and was lit like the 4th of July..
I have trouble buying a 4-pack,because I really need to buy TWO 4-packs and I look like an alcoholic. But that stuff is great.

back when i was a younger pie, i worked as an it gent to help pay for college
the marketing team realized that, by both being deliciouspie and therefore an erudite person to whom people are drawn to and a fairly good golfer, i should be the ringer for the various just-short-of-bribery golf tournaments we held weekly for customers, vendors, and other parts of the defense industry ecosphere
and that, dear hfboards.com friends, is how i spent a summer getting paid to play golf two days out of five

I may have to give it a try next fall, but like I had said, it may just be that I don't like pumpkin period.
I can also see why 2 4 packs put you on your ass. Can't say about the Punkin Ale, but each 90 minute IPA has like twice the alcohol of your average beer. So although you had 8 bottles of beer, you might as well have had 12-16 of something else. Or you're just a lush...
OK, well I'm off to take my kid to a Harvard Summer School info session. He wants to take a couple of classes, but taking him to any sort of college info session so far has been tough. He gets bored and wants to go before they're done. Hopefully today will be different.

Just got back from Amherst after watching UMass trounce BU last night and spend some Dad time with my 2 sons. Oldest a student out there.
Have to say I had a blast. The atmosphere at the Mullins was out of this world. First time I ever was exposed to this. The place was packed with just under 8000 in the seats.
I don't know why anybody looks down on college hockey. Granted sample size was only 1 but what a great game and great time. Outstanding value too. $17 for 4 rows up from blue line.
A great burger, fries & drink of choice for just $9.50. If I lived out there I'd consider season tix.

I definitely have to do more of this.
Isn't it great? So glad you had a good time. The atmosphere for Division I college hockey is tremendous. I've been to Mullins a couple of times - I'd go much more often if I could.

It is. I'm almost beside myself that at 55 it took me this long to discover how much fun college hockey can be. For whatever reason it was one level of hockey I've never attended. The only one actually from pond hockey to NHL.

I go there a lot. Parking is easier out near Thompson Hall rather than near Lorden if that's where you parked. If you don't want to eat at the game Hangar Pub and Grille on University Drive is good.
You can usually depend on a big, lively crowd. Packed is between 9 and 10k but I'm not sure what the max is. Glad you had a good time.
