The entire game featured atrocious officiating, the 5 minute major was the worst call of a game of bad calls. St. Louis lost a regular season game, bottom line. It isn't worth crying about it on hf forums.

Winnik should just surrender the MVP to Zetterberg.

Yeah because that is clearly what is being implied in this thread, Zetterberg is a Hart candidate.

Looked like Oshie should have been called for interference and play blown dead when he touched the puck. Heck of a battle between two of the toughest competitors on ice.

1st goal

2nd goal

Really angry I missed it. Against top quality competition on your home ice. And that empty net goal was just great effort. Oshie is not an easy guy to fight for the puck.

Washed up. Trade him to Vancouver for your choice of goalie.

Yes that wasn't really a standard EN goal, it sure does not take away from the hat trick.

Meh. His second goal was the only one that was good. The first one was because of a weak call on Shattenkirk that made it a 5 on 3, while the third was only set up because of stupid 5 minute major on Backes.

That's what happens when you're on a line with Ian Walsh.

Datsyuks goal was the highlight of the game though. That was a dirty snipe.

I can't tell if that was actually sniped or if he hit Franzen's leg and it deflected in. Either way, you can't give time and space to that man. Then again, you pressure and he'll make a fool out of you regardless. Basically, it's a lose lose.

Apparently... Be thankful we didn't give Datsyuk the C! Just look at what wearing the A does for him!

Post 04-05 lockout Zetterberg slowly became my favorite forward in the league because well the Blues had jack and **** to cheer for in that department. To watch him chew up my favorite team like that last night was pure agony.

Re-watching the game to catch all the "little" things.
