I haven't seen him play so I have to just watch stats but since he returned from the WJC he has played 9 games having scored 3 goals and 6 assists and is a ppg. In his last 10 games (including the last game before the WJC) he has 11 points in 10 games. He still isn't back to the pace he was with last year with his brother but I think that is to be expected but he is 3rd in team points and second in team ppg behind only Ville Peltonen who was over a ppg the last 2 years and only has 26 points in 36 games so everyone suffered when Granlund left. I think he will come to NA next year which should be good for the Heat as they need scoring.

A good comparison is Armia who was taken in the first round of the same draft and has the same ppg as Granlund. Obviously there are more factors but it is encouraging seeing him doing well.

Granlund's been quite good! He now plays in the first line at center with two veterans with even ability to score! HIFK struggled badly the first half of the season and so did Granlund. Now that the team is getting something done, Granlund is putting up some points too. He also forces opponents to take lots of penalties. He has always been a good puck handler but now I see that with the high confidence he has, he really challenges defenders.

Jankowski with a goal so far tonight. At least that's a bright spot on this season so far.

Jankowski has a .52 ppg so far. Not too bad really!

I was hoping Jankow would of been doing a little better this season so far. However its to be expected since the competition is way more hard for him this year and he really doesn't have a lot of great linemates to play with. Next season will be a way better indication of where his game is at. It's really to bad he can't play with JG to develop some chemistry.

As a 17 year old freshman (18?) playing on the 2nd line, I'm okay with 0.5 PPG.

Let's see what happens in the next 2-3 years.

Wiesbrod described Jankow as a player that's just as skilled as Gaudreau only he has the size. I don't think anyone was expecting him to dominate this year, but I thought his numbers may of been slightly higher. Like you said though, let's see what he does over the next couple years.

To be far the last player taken in the first round that played in the NCAA at Jankows age was Toews and he was something special at almost a ppg/

I'm quite sure he has played the majority of the season on the 3rd line... I expect him to receive regular top 6 minutes next year, and be a major contributor for the Providence Friars.

Ferland with a beast performance tonight. 3G 1A for a 4-1 win. He's starting to catch his groove in Saskatoon.

Thanks for digging that up for me HLM!

That's some impressive numbers he's posting, hope it translates to the next level.

There is maturation that still needs to happen, which is one of the reasons Gaudreau’s family is fighting off the advances by Calgary to get him into the NHL. His father says he will play at least his junior season in Chestnut Hill, and perhaps his senior as well.

Looks like Johnny will likely play out his four years at BC. Good to hear as he will be physically ready to jump into the NHL rightaway if so, plus more dominating stuff from him.

I'm disappointed that he's fighting off advances by Calgary.
