we got 4 pts on loko with 3 games left, they have 3 easy wins ahead, which means we need to win 2 out of 3

Hmmm, what do you mean? Most Slovan games look like that on khl.ru... And once again, the Czech TV company to whom the KHL sold the rights for Slovan games, did not bother to show this crucial game on TV at all. I was at the arena, but I'd have been extremely angry if I had to rely on such p|ss-poor TV coverage. I wish some other, and preferably Slovak, not foreign, TV channel obtained Slovan rights for future KHL seasons.

bought 1-month pass on huste.tv for 5,80 but they dont even stream all Slovan games. Cherepovets game was OK, but Vityaz stream dreadfull, missed opening goal due to failure.

tomorrow's game Lev-Slovan has playoff character.
I'm really looking forward to see that one.

An overtime/shootout win for Slovan is enough to clinch a play-off berth. Then they can just take it easy on the final 3-game road trip. The game will be much more urgent for Lev than Slovan.

So, I hope we get the 2 points needed tomorrow. I wouldn't mind Lev getting the 1 point for regulation tie, because I want them to squeeze into the play-offs still, although it will be very difficult for them to overtake Minsk or Donbass (and not to be overtaken by Atlant who seem to have the best schedule from among the 4 teams).

Thoresen resigned with SKA for 2013/14 season. He would be UFA, if not signed new one deal.

who says Lipiansky is 1st or 2nd center of Slovan? He is not 1st/2nd center of Slovan in my eyes. Will be interesting to follow if he resigns with Slovan. He has two-way deal at the age of 38 now, he is only one with this type of contract in KHL (at his age) I think... his KHL carreer is in final phase.

Lipiansky was in great shape before the injury, actually. He was our best player during previous home stretch IMO.

It will be really interesting to see what his future is. I guess if he still wants to play, we'll resign him. We still will be able to send him to Skalica. I can't really imagine him playing elsewhere at this stage of career, of course it can happen.

Yes, make sense, but lets look at rosters of KHL clubs in past. First season, clubs signed their veterans (like Lipiansky), but veterans stayed only one season - not good enough for KHL. Yes, Lipiansky can be another case, who knows? Maybe budget will decide it .. you cannot sign good player if you dont have money.

anyone else think it's funny, how fedorov is trying to aquire players he played with before, without even trying to realize, that they are no longer the same players?

Slovan's two missing top centers in tomorrow's game Slovan vs. Lev are Bližňák (1st line) and Mikúš (2nd line).

Bližňák got injured in a typically stupid play by a Vityaz player (hit against the head), but perhaps he will still recover in time for tomorrow's game.

Mikúš cannot play because Lev traded him to Slovan on the condition that he will not play in Slovan's game against Lev. Too bad, because he had a great first game for Slovan against Chekhov -- 10 times better than Svatoš. (Despite Svatoš scoring, but that goal was more Bartovič's work.)

just to inform you, he was not traded. If you want to know more, PM me.

EDIT:
by trade I mean "NHL trade". There are trades in KHL as well (only different is that club can pay/get money which is not possible in NHL as I know + details with labour law in Russia, it has nothing with sport). Just to name a few trades: Varnakov from Torpedo to SKA for draft pick (IIRC), Ozhiganov (Amur) to CSKA for Sergeev, Panarin the same as Varnakov. Guys from Novokuznetsk (Sopel and co) to other clubs for cash.

Yes, some cases can be considered as "hidden loan" but it is not case of Mikus.

I don't care about the technicalities of his "trade", or whatever. The main thing for me is, Juraj Mikúš (center) is now supposed to play for Slovan (except tomorrow), and he is reportedly committed for the 2013/14 KHL season in Slovan, too. That's great! I mean, Janus is also technically supposed to be a Yaroslavl player, but as long as he plays in goal for Slovan, it doesn't matter.

I always thought it unnatural there were so many Slovak players on Lev this season. It's healthy for Lev to focus more on Czech players now, trading away the Slovak players. I would be very happy if Slovan could also get the defender Juraj Mikuš to join Slovan from Lev for next season.

And no, I for one wouldn't be interested in Surový, Marcel Hossa or Bartečko -- quality players, no doubt, but Slovan already has enough veterans. I've been skeptical about the Marek Svatoš addition, too. Young guys like both of the Juraj Mikúš's are the way to go for Slovan.
