And he's never seemingly progressed past that point...

So we will skip over his NHL points per minute rate to look at his Swedish scoring rates from 3 years ago when he was 19? Be down on Tedenby, that's fine, but let's not reach back in time for less meaningful numbers.

Does anybody care that Chris Terry was a monster scorer when he was 20 or do they just want to know what his NHL scoring is like?

Do you know who he was playing with though?

Young players, especially rookies, in SEL usually don`t put up big numbers. Look at Collberg.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you in general, but c`mon. You know better.

His rookie season in the NHL was pretty impressive, too.

With that said, the last 1.5 seasons has been disappointing.

Lou said he regressed, and it's hard to argue with that. He was a much better player during the Lemaire half season stint. Maybe that was because our forwards were tripe on a bike that season, or because there was less pressure on him, but I don't think it's entirely the coaching that did it anyway. He's had chances since then and not seized them.

His biggest problem is historically, he doesn't put up points.
It's funny. I said that exact thing and I was "dumb" for saying it.

Not necessarily. Anderson played like < 7 minutes. I'm still kind of against giving up on Tedenby and I still think he can make it as a second line winger. He has some issues like strength and all that, but I don't think he's a total lost cause. Selling low on him would be a mistake, I feel.

He needs to put on weight and get some more confidence back. Should've spent more time in the minors.

There's only so much weight the midget can put on before he starts to lose speed, which is about his only asset.

Tedenby's been a lost cause since we drafted him.

Yep. He could work on his lower body strength and technique (avoiding the contact) though.

He's not a lost cause. There are teams where he could catch on. It just doesn't look like he'll make it on the Devils. His defence and puck responsibility will just never be up to scratch.

^ No. Tedenby isn't a lost cause. He's just not going to develop into anything as a NJ Devil. He'll be, as you suggest, better off on other teams with different systems than what the Devils have.....

Tedenby needs to watch Cory Conacher play. That's how you play when you're small - head up, ready to make quick plays, not trying to do too much. The longer you hold the puck, the more likely it is that someone is going to knock you off it, no matter how quick you are.

Him or Gerbe, he has that same quality. Hell, I'd be fine with it if he could play like Stephen Gionta.

Add Ennis and (obviously) St. Louis to that list. Not that it matters, if he hasn`t learned yet, I doubt he ever does.

Lamoriello said Tedenby is with Albany, but didn't play last night because "he's a little sore."
lol, how did he get sore from not playing in a week?

Doesn`t matter. Thank God, the little fella is alive!

Seriously though, Lou sent dogs after him, hence the injury. Got chased by them, that`s why it took him so long to get to Albany.

His feelings hurt from Deboer not liking him ever and then getting sent down = sore.

He's sore because they sent him to Albany by catapult instead of the traditional methods.
