Afternoon games are so weird.

We need to work on our PK, faceoffs and taking stupid penalties. Once those 3 things are reeled in a little, we should be playing much better.

Unless there is an injury, he will play. This is just a poor attempt at keeping your opponents in the dark about your intentions.

Boos or cheers when PK touches the puck for the first time?

There is no way he gets booed. He will probably get the loudest reaction this season. Maybe 2nd to Galchenyuk's goal.

A very few amount of people will boo him. I'll be there, and I'm gonna make sure any boos coming out of my section will not be heard due to my loud cheering (I have one of those loud voices you can hear from the upper balcony )

This is a valid point, but to play the devil's advocate, Subban has a few things going against him. He was a holdout, the team has been (for the most part) playing pretty well, we already have 7D called up without Subban so it's not like we need to play an AHLer if Subban doesn't play, and Subban will be matched up against the other team's top players, if he's not at 100% it could be costly. Not to mention that he probably needs a few practices to get comfortable with the system.

It's good when role players know their role. Now get out there and produce.

I would agree with what you said if we were talking about a guy like Bouillon, or Webber. But Subban is a blue chip (whatever anyone says), if he's ready you play him.

Sorry to rant at you. But it happens so often. PK did not "hold out".
He's not allowed to play with-out a contract.

Bravo à Michel Therrien de garder Ryan White dans la formation...il ne veut pas éteindre son enthousiasme! #bucheetfermetatrappe

He says Ryan White will be playing today... Thank god. No way he should of been benched today.

if pk doesn't play today, do you think they're waiting for a road game?

I sure hope not but it wouldn't make sense to not put him in today, unless that was their motif. it's like other d man deserve to be there...it's 6 games, the team knew pk would be back, and he is a top 2 d-man for us.

they need to quit wasting time and put subban in. the guy is going to contribute more to teams wins than kaberle. better 5-5, better on the pp, and better on the pk. it's a no-brainer.

Confirmed by Lavoie, PK is playing.

Renaud Lavoie ‏@RenLavoieRDS
PK Subban est déjà au Centre Bell et va disputer son premier match cette saison aujourd'hui.

Why are retarded penalties the key to victory today?

Please don't bash White for those penalties, they should be expected considering his role on the team. He's a spark plug, backs his team mates no matter what and plays his heart out. I think he's great for the 4th line

Habs will play 11 Forwards and 7 D's.

Probably to protect Subban's ice time.
