Lousy planning by the league. NYI/NYR and NYI/NJ usually assure the isles of strong ticket sales because they're locals rivals.
Poor planning or not, this team is winning and fans need to show up. Especially considering the game is early enough where you can get home and watch the precious stuper bowl.
I mean there are so many tickets available, even right now, that I doubt we can even get the place half full. That's how ridiculous this situation is.

Yup. NYI comes off a great road trip and the place will be half empty Sunday. Excuses, excuses. It's the superbowl, it's Groundhog day, it's Valentine's day, it's arbor day (not Al) it's St. Patrick's day, it's April Fools, it's a weeknight, have to wash my hair. It's always something. And some wonder why NYI is leaving LI. Ya think Buffalo will be half empty on superbowl sunday?
I've been to NYI games at NVMC on New Year's Eve and Thanksgiving. (Yes they used to play on Thanksgiving). Suck it up and go.
Unless you're protestiing the lockout then it's ok.
1PM would have been so much better...likely the 2 hour difference would have made it a full house.. I will be there and likely get to my bro in laws 20 mins before kickoff... on the bright side, maybe this means that the portion of the Devils fans that travel from NJ will be minimal since they would not be able to get home before kickoff.

Probably close to no Devs fans will make the trip.
As for the game, maybe a lot of Isles fans will scoop up tickets today. I sure hope so, because otherwise Wang better let us all fill the lower bowls lol.
On a somewhat similar note, this game is not even close to as dumb as scheduling an Isles/Rags game on Valentine's Day. Now THAT is stupid. We play them four times this whole season and now I know for sure I will not be able to watch at least that one.

Another head scratcher, but if the Isles go 2-0 or 1-1 in the next two I will be going to the worlds most corporate arena Thursday WITH my girl I'll take her to dinner after LOL
