Nilsson really got on my radar this christmas, calm, smart, competitive blueliner. Really like his poise and game. Looks like a steal in the 4th rd. If he keeps progressing he will past a lot of our D on the depth chart. The Leafs and Swedes have a great history together, would love this to continue! Cheers mate.
Cheers, will do.
But he might end up somewhere else or even try his luck in the AHL if he (and TML) feels that is the best thing for him. But personally I think playing in the SEL for a couple of season would be better for him. And I guess there will be plenty of players on the Marlies next season looking for ice time so no need to rush forward his move over.

Does anyone know what kind of stuff they give away at Marlies fan appreciation games? My buddy's wife is thinking of giving him tickets for his bday and wants to know.

Anyone watch last night's game? Looks like Gardiner was a -2 on the night, wondering how he looked.

Anyone who saw him with the Marlies this year would be disappointed in his play, sophomore jinx?

You mean since his concussion?

How did he look last night?

Keon was considered one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, and one of the best defensive forwards of his era.[3] He would usually play against the opposing team's top centre, and developed a reputation for neutralizing some of the league's top scorers. In 197071, he scored eight shorthanded goals, setting an NHL record.

gardiner looked amazing before his concussion, anyone who says, he has looked bad all year, I don't what you guys are watching, it will take some time, concussions are tough to come back from right away, so patience is needed

Not a lot of intensity all around. 2-0 Hamilton. Our Pp isn't very good yet as Connolly and Gardiner play catch for most of it on the perimeter. Hopefully period 2 is better.

I think he can be a 4th liner, a good one at that, but I doubt he will be more than that, I hope he proves me wrong,

ross, is the one that I am really high on

Funny how slow the Marlies threads go since the lockout was over.

I didn't know Connolly is an assistant captain there.

Devane out there with Ryan and Mckegg. Have to admit I like how Jamie is skating, Underhill influence has helped.

I think she'll be a difference maker for a lot of our prospects having a pro, even NHL, career .. If the Leafs can tailor their later picks, high skilled guys or big guys with skating issues, and she can iron them out .. Could be very lethal for the future
