How has Jan Hejda looked this season? I'm sure there would be a ton of teams interested in him if he was available. With Frattin & Kadri playing well in the absence of Lupul and MacArthur, there could be a chance someone is going to be on the block from TO when Mac returns this week.

Like you would expect an older guy not playing during the lockout, he's been a bit rusty. He's been decent though and had a strong game last game.
Funny to say that the Hejda for Okposo offer is a bad deal for the Islanders.
Hejda has been fantastic for Colorado, while Okposo hasn't been strong for the Isles. I wouldn't take that deal from an Avs perspective.
What's funny is someone thinking the Isles, who are building with youth led by 22 yr old Tavares, would flip 24 yr old KO for a 34 yr old they don't need.
With the way the Okposo contract is designed, I fully expect them to trade him once his salary exceeds his cap hit.
For months now, some NYI fans and opposing team fans have been posting lowball proposals for Grabner, calling him the 1 trick pony
I pointed out that both Grabner and KO make dirt cheap salaries until 2014-2015.
$1m last season, $2m this season and $3m next season.
If they are still inconsistent players by 2014-2015, Snow will look to move them.
It's a lot easier for Snow to have patience with his young core players, when they are making dirt cheap salaries. Tougher to put up with that inconsistent play, when they are making big $.
I know people on here bash him allot, but Tim Connoly would be a good cheap fit.
1) He is a C as is ROR and can play a decent two way game.
2) He has already passed through waivers so when ROR is signed he can be put in the minors without any trouble.
3) The leafs are in a good position to eat some salary as he is costing the Leafs 900k less than his salary against the cap anyway.
4) His contract is up at the end of the year so no long term effects.
Toronto sends:
Tim Connoly, eat part of his salary, lets say 1 million so he has a cap his of 3.25 or 3
Colorado sends: a pick which is contingent on how many games he plays and/or points he scores.
I was honestly hoping that the Pens would grab him. He is a skilled player - but must be used in a top 6 role, not a top 9 that he was in Toronto.
However Toronto will not retain salary. They have no reason to. They're not a budget team so it means nothing to have a 4m salary in the minors. And besides... Connolly will make ~2.3m over a 48 game season. I don't think TO could care about 2.3m.
But Connolly isn't a two way player. He's not horrible defensively, but he's not good either. He's an offensive guy - that's it.

Now I really don't foresee this happening since it's inter division but what if Minnesota offered up Setogouchi who do you think Colorado would offer in return.

I still think D'Agostini makes a lot of sense for Colorado, as St. Louis has somewhat of a logjam at forward.
I agree. D'Agostini is a solid top 9 forward. Is productive on the PP. Good speed and a heavy solid shot. The Blues don't need any more dmen. Maybe move him for a 2nd.
As a Leaf fan, I've been thinking for the last week the Leafs really should move MacArthur (who will be coming back from an exploded pinky on Monday) for a veteran defenceman that can play 15-20~ minutes a night regularly. Anyone on the Avs that fits that bill that would also work for MacArthur in fans minds?
