Not suck for Nurse. Hey he's Donvan McNab's nephew. He's got that clutch gene.

Wonder if any journalist will have the balls to ask Pete why is he is draining out the energy of Kovy with monster minutes in a compressed season.

I'm still baffled that we didn't use a timeout leading to the 3-1 backbreaking goal.

Forget it, should've been done last season already and nothing happened.

Best to come this way and hope its the slap in the face needed to clean up the stuff that has nothing to do with depth or anything. Just basic hockey stuff that the guys on the ice currently are very capable of doing, but aren't. Stupid giveaways, passes to no where, lazy clears. That stuff can be fixed without a trade, and still kill us with a trade.

3rd line is the only line to show up these last few games.
zajac looks lost.

elias should be at center. henrique is clearly not ready for that just yet. didn't understand the line combos at all.

yeah, people are blaming Kovalchuk and that's deserved but god it makes few games that Zajac is nowhere to be seen either.

They can't say they got a point. They can't say anything positive. It's good. They'll be pissed, they'll open their eyes. They got embarrassed, and they won't let it happen again.

It's like the entire team is snake bitten at the same time. These whack ass lines aren't helping, that's for sure. Also, I want Anderson back. And Fayne.

Zajac also lost a board battle to Paul martin of all people. I'm not trying to dump on Zajac, but that's pretty ****ing bad

Maybe these dicks are out of shape. Who knows? But this first set of games has easily been some of the worst hockey this team has played since the MacLean days. There is just nothing doing out there. AT ALL.

If Toronto wins tonight, NJ will be 8th in the Eastern Conference.

Kovalchuk certainly doesn't look in great shape. Slow and weak on his feet.

Martin has been playing some good hockey this year so far. Maybe playing like our best defenseman.

I agree that Elias should center that line. He could move the puck and I'd rather him Zajac playing physical in deep at winger instead of Patrik at this point. But I still don't see why we didn't stick with Henrique-Zajac-Kovy as our to line.
