Most of which (22) came in the third period, so allowing only one from Vanek on a breakaway just goes to show his skill level under pressure.

They should not let people vote for the # 1 Star.

It is just a popularity contest, more than anything.

Lets commend Gauthier for getting a player who plugs a hole on the second line, a prospect, and a second rounder for a soft, ineffectual malcontent.

Today is the proof that PK didn't need a week before reintegrating the lineup. A talented player like PK should be inserted in the lineup the second he is available to play. The whole thing was just some ploy.

I can see him or Cole drop to play with the kids. Scratch Kaberle.

He's been used with Moen and Armstrong... White will sit again, so is Kaberle with his 7min of play.

They might even try to put him on the wing with the G-Unit and Prust with moen and White.

Anyeays, the amount of ice time he got showed Therrien really liked what he saw from Eller today... so did I.

I've been hard on Bourque last year, but in this game, he was solid. He crashed the net and let his teammate do the fancy work. Result : 2 goals... keep it up.

Oh and Galchenyuk will be a star in this league.

Patchioretty probably will come back this week, when he does, where do we play Eller? 4th Line center?

Pretty much. It's fun for the fan because they feel they have an outcome on something but the choices they pick aren't always the most logical.

Who's bad in the league ATM ? Calgary, Colombus and Florida are bad.. The rest of the teams are pretty much all equal to me.

Diaz should've kept skating. He stopped when Vanek stopped and then Price stopped it but it went straight in the net.

The game was out of reach for two thirds of those shots. And goalies face dangerous shots EVERY game.

Honestly at this point it's Cole that has to earn his place on that line again. He's been beyond bad. I doubt the coaching staff sees it this way though. Cole has earned the benefit of the doubt but man, he needs to step it up.

If Eller and DD put in another performance like tonight, I could see Pacioretty playing with the Gallys and Prust moving down. Or Eller moving to play with the Gallys and Patch taking his spot back.

I would love to move Cole to a different line, but I'm not sure I'd really want Gallagher on the LW. And I don't know how Cole works on LW.

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Eller could be fun though.

Galchenyuk scoring at around a point per game. Didn't think he'd be on the team this year much less scoring at this rate. Looking more and more like the real deal every game. Too bad he didn't score on the breakaway but 2 assists is pretty decent.

Our problem has always been scoring goals. We've always had decent secondary offense that's masqueraded as our 1st line. If we actually have a center who can start putting up 80+ points a game there will be no tank.

Very early. Very easy schedule so far but man its nice to see our rookie playing as well as he has and Price has been solid/great in every game he's played.
