PollakOnSharks 11:59am via Web With McLaren claimed by TOR off waivers, look for Jason Demers to be activated momentarily as wrist good to go for #SJSharks.

He can..he just sucks at it. Hockey fights aren't about wins and losses anyway.

If you're using that definition, why not just name the entire roster?

Precisely. Couture is physically capable of fighting, but that doesn't mean he's good at it or I want him doing it. I don't think anyone here wants Marleau to get his face bashed in by the Bieksa's of the world.

I'm sure no one wants any of the top guys fighting. Couture is the last guy I want dropping the gloves

Thus the point that Marleau can't fight.

If Frazer was only good for fighting, we should have waived Clowe instead and saved 3mil. for essentially the same player

Frazer would have taken fewer penalties.

Good for McLaren!! And I bet he scores a goal tonight because that's what players do when they leave the Sharks.

Lucic would kill McLaren. Frazer will be fighting Lane MacDermid, just like he would be in the AHL.

I'd be surprised if those two didn't go at it tonight. Fraze will be lookin' to make "an impact." Any chance of Don givin' mention to the Leafs' glorious acquisition tonight on Coach's Corner?

From James Mirtle tweet today:

Quote:
Lucic on McLaren: "He was the only guy that ever put me on my back" in the WHL. They fought three times in junior.

Pretty well...lots of games they keep the team in the game until the offense wakes up.
