Oh, and I really like how Therrien is using his players. Everything makes sense.

One last thing: Bourque definitely deserves a lot of praise. He's doing exactly what he needs to be doing.

No leave Prust with the Gallies. Quite a few times he's come to defend them. Ott trying to start his usual crap against BGally led to Prust teaching him a lesson. Then poor Ott tried to hit Emelin only to lose that outcome as well

Hey folks,

How about instead of figuring out who was at fault on the Vanek goal, you realize that Vanek is an elite NHL forward?

Would save you a lot of posts.

So stoked.. What a great game!. Loving the fact Therrien gave Eller some pp and pk time at the end of the 3rd. Loving these early games.. Usually i have to stay up really late to watch Habs games

i think cole is just playing how he is going to play....last year was just one of those years where he played way beyond his ability.....

make a trade get rid of either cole, eller and webber and a 3rd pick for a stud....

Elite, yes. On a PP with 5 goals ahead, he got cocky and messed up. Cost Price the shutout.

Our problem has always been scoring goals. We've always had decent secondary offense that's masqueraded as our 1st line. If we actually have a center who can start putting up 80+ points a game there will be no tank.

Very early. Very easy schedule so far but man its nice to see our rookie playing as well as he has and Price has been solid/great in every game he's played.
I'd much rather 3 lines that have 50-60 point pivots. Balanced scoring is huge.

If DD, Pleks, and Galchenyuk can all put up around 30-points, that would be unreal.

+10000

I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised Diaz can keep pace with Vanek in open ice, honestly.

I'd prefer they go back to what it was last year.

Let Pac go back to the line that was so productive last year and hope that they put it together. Pleks seems to be breathing back life into Bourque's game and then you've got the Gally/prust line that seems to be working. That's pretty good.

The gallys and Pac would be a lethal third line!

True that... Plekanec has been amazing so far this season, yet he doesn't get the love other players get. We are spoiled to have a player like him... a great leader on the ice.

The addition of Subban adds that big shot from the point we didn't have.

Carey Price says he doesn't give a hoot about shut outs. Just give him 4+ goals a game and he'll be in heaven

True. But a shutout is always cool. That breakaway could have been avoided. I'm sure Diaz is not proud of it. Something to work on. Anyway, a great game by the boys and good, solid game back from PK. He kept thing simple and had no issues. He's a plus in the lineup.

Playoffs or Cup? Playoffs? Sure. Cup? Not yet, and you can quote me on that.

Then again, if Price can pull off a legendary performance, we may have a good chance.

Seriously. It's a nice stat to have, but I think he'd rather have a 4+ goal game any night.
I think people on this board care alot more about things than the players themselves.

Example, you really think Eller cares that he wasn't one of the stars?

You need depth, I wouldn't say otherwise. But when you have some depth AND a real first line center that's when things get exciting.

Price got cocky too. Diaz was right on Vanek.. he couldn't really do anything except shoot. Price diving out cost himself just as much.

We played a good game (eller,dd,bourque, plekanec, gally's were awesome) but god buffalo was awful. Oh yeah, fan voting really needs to stop, agreed with L'antichambre for once, it will be akward for A.gally if he gets voted 1st star every game (he was good today but 3rd star at most)
