How is Morgan Ellis doing? Does he look like a potential NHLer?

2-0 lead turns into a 4-2 deficit.

Lefebvre can not be back next year. No way. This team is a total trainwreck.

Cunneyworth, at the AHL level, is Scotty Bowman compared to Lefebvre.

What did Lefebvre do to screw up the lead?

I tuned in late to the radio feed and Derek Wills said the Bulldogs were in total ''sit on the lead'' mode when it was 2-0. And they got burned.

Considering the big club doesn't play that way when leading and we keep hearing the systems are supposedly very comparable, that's on the head coach.

Then you look at how the team can't score, can't defend, has an absolutely atrocious PP, etc and it just adds up. A team should have at least ONE clear strength.

Some guys are just not cut out to be head coaches.

This team is beyond terrible... seriously go get a real coach... a guy like Guy Carbonneau would be awesome it will allow him to be a nhl coach sooner rather than later while bringing a real winner attitude and leadership.

Carbonneau should never coach again.

Thays not a cool thing to say. He would do a good coach with good assistants im talking ahl here. He also had the chance to see things since he was fired he could go coach elsewhere too not saying he would be the next habs coach cause Therrien will likely stay for a good 2-3 years (average here lol)

He was pretty bad with the Habs.

He never matched lines, he almost never put the logical lines together, and he talked about going bowling and wearing his lucky tie as victory strategies. I think Kirk Muller must have smoothed a lot of things over... maybe also with Jacques Martin.

He then coached Canada's world junior team to a 7th place finish or something like that.

My pick for the Dogs was a rookie....but a competent one in Jean-François Houle. Benoit Groulx would not have been bad as well. Let's hope the right thing is done in the summer, though, I suspect the organization will not believe it's on the coach but on the players as one of the youngest one. When you keep hearing this, you KNOW that this is the card they will be playing.

Though you wonder if NO EXCUSES applies in that regard as far as young...maybe...but THAT BAD?

The injury updates (nothing on Palushaj), Nattinen is out with a shoulder injury, could be done for the season, Corbin/Stejskal/Lefebvre all healthy (maybe someone will go be getting sent down. Avtsin is day to day with a leg injury.

Leblanc was on the top line of Bournival Dumont Leblanc, he was mixing it up physically a couple times and thought the line was decent (they got 1 goal, Dumont)

He was a healthy scratch last game, but overall he's been solid. We'll see how it goes for him over the next couple of seasons in Hamilton, would like to see him get quicker if possible.

Developing our top prospects the right way. Besides Leblanc, all the notable guys down there are doing a good job(Beaulieu/Holland/Tinordi/Bournival).

And that's his main job.

I know for a fact that Lefebvre had never been Head Coach before. So yes it was kind of a chance they took with him. But as I said, his main goal is to develop prospects properly, as long as he does that, he'll keep his job IMO. Personally I couldn't care less if they win or lose, as long as the prospects when called upon are ready to help the big team.

He has been arguably Hamilton's best with Dumont and Blunden. Solid.

How's Avtsin doing? Is it safe to say that he's on his way to being a lower-level prospect?

Does being part of a winning culture not help? Let alone the experience from an AHL playoff run?

obviously but surely good prospects/solid nhlers have come from crappy AHL teams. As long as our prospects are improving that's all I really care about.

I almost consider this Bulldogs team to be a bit of a rebuild team. Had Geoffrion, Palushaj, Leblanc and Nattinen not been out for long periods of time, they surely wouldn't have been this bad. Next year the whole team will be so much better. Guaranteed.
