Paul Thompson out with injury and helping announce the game tonight. No Tom Grace and can't say he's particularity missed.

Morrow with a goal for the 2nd straight game, assisted by Gibbons and Peters. Thiessen getting the start. Bennett still out. Eaton missed last game with injury and is out again. Dupuis continues to be out.

Lines sound something like

Holzapfel-Smith-Kolarik
Gibbons-Peters-Megna (Not sure on this line, might be Farnham instead of Megna)
Sill-Kostopolous-Payerl
Uher-Barton-Farnham (might be Megna instead of Farnham, with Megna centering)

First PP
Dumoulin-Reese
Holzapfel-Smith-Kolarik

2nd PP

Morrow-Grant
Kostopolous-Sill-? (maybe Payerl)

Almost scored near end of the period on pp, Dumoulin pass to Grant off the cross bar.

Would be interesting if Morrow caught on fire and forced management's hand to bring him up to play considering the PP woes.

Despres - Letang
Orpik - Martin
Morrow - Bortuzzo

Would never happen considering 3 of those defensemen are rookies, but it would be fun to see.

Don't think there's much chance of DB breaking up the current pp group. Only guy I can see them moving off it is Kunitz and I doubt that even happens. Can only hope it starts to play better since it's not likely to change much in form or function, especially after the inane roving Neal idea.

Well I don't have much hope of it either, but frankly he'd be stupid not to at least try Morrow there if he does get a chance with the big club this season. Just substitute Morrow for Kunitz.

They probably have public nicknames, and locker room nicknames.

Grant's nickname should be Granite, because his shot is as hard as a rock, Steigy!

Nothing really stood out in this period. I liked what I saw from Dumoulin.

Granter with a goal off a Farnham rebound. Gibbons with a secondary assist on the goal.

2-0

I thought Grant had about 3 good shifts in a row. And of course, the goal. Nice.

Good to see Farnham picking up a point, I hope the Pens are going to sign him to an NHL deal like they did with Sill.

Gotta love Sill. I don't believe he is an NHL player, but he is a great teammate to have in WBS.

They've changed the scoring on the first goal 3 times.. Now Morrow gets the 2nd assist?
