Good period, lots of speed, very good defensively, and even a few offensive moments..

[QUOTE=Tortorella;58921485]"This is one of the best periods the Rangers have had this season"

Speaks volumes about our season.[/QUOT

Wasn't bad, but they better pitch a shutout, 'cause they ain't scoring with the 2nd, 3rd or 4th line.

If the team needs to score more (and they do) the coach needs to give the best chance to. Give Stepsn a player to play with. I don't care if its Gaborik or Nash. Give your top two lines some balance.

Need to stop looking for the perfect pass - drive to the net and shoot. Every goalie looks like the second coming of Patrick Roy against them.

Gabs and Nash are working so well together, I think those two should stay together for now. Maybe try Stepan at 1c, get Richards' creativity and passing on the 2nd line. Could help Steps find his game too.

So far all the punching bags had an OK first.
Gilroy, Asham, Rupp, Stralman, Bickel and Halpern all looked OK IMO, albeit Rupp & Asham are slow and do not really show that energy spark we need. Watch Asham go after Hedman now...

Very good play so far.

Keep fore-checking and shooting. The goals will come.

That was a pretty good period. Gotta keep it going, though. Don't let up in the 2nd.

11 SOG for the Rangers. Meaning we shoot more when we don't have the power play.

Come on Dugay, your coming into your late 50's. Time to get the hair cut and put away the hair dye.
