Move Stuart to the left and he tops the left side in puck skills although Irwin has been a nice surprise.

A note on Braun, his puck skills seem to have fallen off as well. Take note of the shot clock on the game when Boyle was sick; puck skills count.

Here is the depth I see with a healthy team.

Right side:
Boyle
Burns
Demers/Braun

Left side:
Pickles
Stuart
Irwin/Murray
Stuart has definitely been the better of he and Vlasic, but Vlasic is the better player. I was just responding to the claim that Stuey's the best stay-at-home defenseman we've had since Hannan, when Vlasic should have that title.

Overall he has done a fantastic job. Very steady, laying the occasional big hit, he doesn´t shoot a lot, but still has a bomb, he seems to know when to join the rush / be aggressiv (e.g. that rush in Calgary when he went around the D of the Flames and then made a beautiful centering pass to... ??? (don´t remember) or late against the Ducks when Logan tied it while Stuart was crashing the net.

He also has been a big part of the "new" PK... All in all, i am very happy!

Can´t wait fur Burns return...

Boyle - Irwin
Burns - Stuart
Vlasic - Murray / Demers / Braun /

You picked probably the worst combo of D haha

Vlasic-Burns
Stuart-Boyle
Demers-Bruan/Irwin

Id like to see what Burns and Boyle can do together.

Boyle-Burns
Vlasic-Stuart
Murray-Demers/Braun

Lets Vlasic and Stuart get top lines to let our best offensive defenceman to focus on offense.

As stated elsewhere, Burns and Boyle both have a tendency to jump up in the play so this would inherently waste a puck mover on the backend

Like I said in the GDT today, Stuart is the only Shark I haven't yelled "YOU MORON!" at in the past three games.

It's so great to have a defensive defenseman on the team who doesn't treat the puck like it's a grenade.

I've said it a couple of times at least in the GDT's - he's been the most consistent player so far IMO, I love what he brings to the team.
