From the "they are who we thought they were" file: Morrow is going to take the shot when given the opp. Uher is going to take the body when given the chance. And Sameulsson is going to make the simple play every time.

Missed the 1st period but from what I saw,Thiesen played well. Wasn't tested a ton. I thought Grant looked really good.

How has Uher looked? I liked his game at the scrimmage.

He's been good, lots of energy, plays physical and has some agitating in his game as well.

Could you see him as a replacement for Cooke in the future? Does he pk?

He PKed in junior, I think, but I don't think he has in WB/S.

I think he could replace Cooke eventually, he seems like he could develop into a nice, physical third liner who can chip in offensively.

I like Uher's game a lot, he seems like a real pain in the ass to play against.

How has Morrow looked since the NHL camps opened? He's putting together some decent stats since the AHL isn't filled with NHL'ers anymore.

Cooke is getting up there in age and an UFA this summer... Nice to see that we may have a replacement at a fraction of the cost. Longterm it would be great given he's projected to play on the third line.

He's going to need to find a lot more offense before we start talking Matt Cooke. Remember, guys like Cooke lit it up in the AHL.

Lot more work to be done yet with Uher.

Well at least if he does ever get a look on the NHL club he plays a style of game that could be very useful on a 4th line and get him some playing time.

Yeah, it's going to take a while. I didn't mean for it to sound like he could step in for him tomorrow or anything.

I don't have a link sorry.

Norfolk scores, Morrow and Samuelsson a bit lacking in their own end on that play.

Great work by Farnham there. He was a one man cycle.

Luca Caputi sighting, this not long after CPZ showed up against Wheeling. Waiting for Esposito's tumbleweed to pass through next.

Not smart by Megna there, but to his defense, he probably thought that the Norfolk player might be in all alone there on Thiessen. Just a reflex move when a player gets behind you and the puck is going that way.

Pen's get a flukey one, bad bounce of the boards into a mostly empty net. Peters with the goal.

I'm not certain Tom Grace exists in the same universe that we do.

Haha, probably right.

I do think he gets paid by the cliche/corny reference. Cause he dishes them out like crazy.

Three points for each player, Jay Rosehill gets the Gordie Howe hat-trick.
