I don't think coach should load up the top line on the road. It makes it far too easy to match up against. I'd be inclined to maybe get all of Michalek, Alfie and Turris onto different lines or have Michalek and Alfie line up with a different center (not Regin). My 1st choice would probably be Da Costa with the idea that Zibanejad stays with O'Brien and Condra. We really need a player who has some patience with the puck and can lug it through the neutral zone on occasion.
We might be able to get away with having Michalek-Turris-Alfie as a line at home on occasion but last change is going to kill us on the road when they only have to worry about one line and that line isn't all that dangerous.
Mac also has to find a consistent PP unit that works without Spezza. Can't not be scoring on 4 minute PPs.
Watching Greening trying to be the playmaker on the majority of the 2nd half of the doubleminor was pretty brutal.
I would call up DaCosta regardless. He has the vision and passing of similarity to Spezza. He'd at least be huge help on the PP.
Also, I really saw Regin find his game stronger when he was on a line with Alfredsson and the Zibanejad-Turris-Silfverberg line looked like it had some potential.
I'd try those lines up. Michalek-Regin-Alfredsson as one and the above as another.
I would be slightly more confident in Regin becoming someone who can legitimately play in the NHL if he didn't shoot like a girl and get knocked off the puck after opposing players breathe on him.
Why so much of this apologist BS? He's looked awful and he kills every offensive push on shifts of any line he's been on so far this year. There's a reason he's the only Sens player (besides Borowiecki) that doesn't have a point yet.

Who would you play Da Costa with? or would you replace Regin with him?

I'd be inclined to replace Regin with Da Costa. Right now would be a good time to waive Regin so we can send him to Bingo to work on his game. No one's going to pick him up and certainly the B Sens could use the reinforcements.
I think we need some more skill instead of Daugavins in the lineup, hence the DaCosta callup.
I'm sure I forgot someone in the lineup aswell..
edit : Anyone seen Prince play in the AHL? Is he doing any good at that level?
i don't want to break up that o'brien - zibby - condra line.
that said, how about
greening - turris - alfie
michalek - zibby - condra/silf
latendresse/k-daug - smith - neil
o'brien - regin - silf/condra
prince has been okay. tonight he looks good so far. i think he'll be in the ahl for a while before he gets a good shot at the nhl. he was kinda buried in the depth before, now he's in a bigger role, so we'll get to see more of him.
edit: this is of course assuming we don't call up da costa. i feel too sorry for bingo, so despite me thinking he'd help the team, i didn't include him in the line-up. if we did call him up, he either slides in for regin, or latendresse drops out and regin takes his spot.
Did anyone else see regin rubbing his shoulder in pain last night on the bench? Concerning? No? Doesn't it explain a lot? Like why he has looked so weak and scared

#Sens have called up Stephane DaCosta from #BSens. Will be available to play tomorrow, but doubtful unless there is some injury or sickness.
I'd like to see what he can do this time around. Maybe try Regin-Da Costa-Condra - all three of those players are good at making nice little plays in the o-zone.

He's already played 2 games this weekend. A 3rd at a higher level less than 24 hours later might not be the best time to debut. Let him get a practice in first. Zibanejad and Smith are playing well.
