I agree it was a dumb play by stoll, but it was also a dumb play by fowler.

Fowler had the puck and Stoll was taking the body by trying to pinch him up against the boards. Prior to that, fowler does a hard stop 2 feet away from the boards and well the laws of physics explain the rest.

What I don't like is people that clearly can't be objective claiming X player is dirty. People need to give their head a shake.

Surprisingly yes.

I tend to look at the rules and application.

Not go on tirades about how a player was dirty and needs the book thrown at them.

Fowler is dumb for trying to get the puck out of the zone? He's dumb because he didn't know Stoll would try to take his head off? Nice try, guy. Take a walk.

So your defense is that since you don't have an emotional opinion that your opinion is better then mine? Ok maybe your are just blind then because it was clearly a bad play. Either that or you didn't even watch the replay.

Lets have some one do that to Schultz and ill say that your emotional attachment means you are wrong when calling for a suspension

The laws of physics don't say you have to drive someones head into the dasher. It's called letting up. What would you suggest Fowler should have done instead?

Wait, it was dumb for Fowler to stop? Did you actually watch the replay? If he doesn't stop, he slams right into the ref, dude. Is he supposed to do that anyway, so Stoll doesn't have to be put in the position of whether he wants to drive through on that play?

Yup, first time a player ever skated behind the net with a puck with an intent to hard around the boards. That never happens, and luckily, I'm objective, or I wouldn't know that.

So should he have let Stoll just get the puck? Makes sense. He lost balance as a result of having his jersey pulled (already a penalty). Stoll's involvement should have ended there. But with Fowler already falling Stoll made sure that the head got some kind of physical contact on the way down.

Did you see where the head made contact? It was below the glass, had fowler actually stayed up it would of been normal contact.

So acting like Jarret Stoll bent fowler over then threw his head into the glass is laughable. Try to be objective please.

This pretty much sums it up.

And when Ryan dove, the Ducks got the PP they should've had on the hit by Stoll.

So I guess you've never heard the term finish your check?

Secondly, no he didn't lose balance because of that. He did a hard stop and Stoll was pushing which caused him to fly forward into the boards.

Funny... everyone else seems to agree it was bad, and could be suspendable. I'm not sure objectivity is what you're displaying.

well, the video is up now, I guess we'll see just how "objective" you are. Right now it's like 30-1, and you're the only 'one'. Be sure and follow these posts from other fans. I think to be objective, you have to listen to other sane people's opinions.

Dude... again, Fowler was showing him his numbers the entire time. There shouldn't have been a check to begin with, and Stoll just made it worse the way he drove Fowler in.

Everybody? or those in this thread because that's not true either

I have game center, I can watch the replay as many times as I want. My opinion it was a dumb play by both players. Simple as that. If you can't agree oh well.
