Eller

Where does he fit in?

He seems to be in a bit of jam atm, Chuck may of found a home on the 3rd C. Does he play wing on the 3rd, or put chuckie on the wing? Seems to be quite an interesting experiment right now.

Only possibility i can see right now is to play him as a winger on gally's line while Prust would play with Moen and Armstrong on the 4th.
I know Prust is a good fit but Therrien should at least try it .
You cant put Eller on a 4th line

I'd keep him on the 1st line with Pacio and DD. I really don't know what to do with Cole though.

Prust and the Gallys are doing a great job so far, I really don't see they should change something that works.

Or, we can do something nutty like Patches-Eller-Cole and drop DD to the fourth, in which he can then turn Armstrong into .5 PPG form once again.

DD might be small, might not be able to handle the stiffest of competition, but he does have offensive creativity.

Its a tough one, but id say keep him on the 1st line with Patches and DD.. Move cole to 3rd line and prust to 4th.. The way cole has played, he should be the odd man out, and he would still be playing on a line that can create offense

I think this is what should happen. I think Cole will benefit a lot from it. He's no Prust as far as policing but I'm sure he would stick up for them.

Wow we could have 3 scary scoring lines.

I'd personaly like to see a trade with cole+eller for a legit 1st line RW throw in one of our second rounders if we have to

Why? We finally have 4 really good balanced lines. Why trade away our depth?
Also if you want to trade eller, why not wait until hes value is higher. I dont think hes trade value is at its highest right now.

I dont think we should trade Eller or Cole right now, gives us depth we haven't had before.

Eller is a much better center so wherever he plays it should be center. I would not remove Prust from the Gals yet because it is working.

Cole has a NTC anyway. He's not moving mid-season when he's a huge family man.

I think you'll see Eller be mixed around a bit when Max Pac is back. Sometimes you'll see him with the Gally's when we need a goal. Sometimes you'll see him with Desharnais after their chemistry from yesterday. He'll mostly center the 4th line though.

Eller's starting to look more comfortable on the wing and he's a nice option to have if one of the centres goes down for awhile. He may not have found a permanent spot on a line yet, but that opportunity will most likely present itself when injuries to players without mystical healing powers start happening.

This.

Leave him there until Gally becomes the #1 centre, Pleks slots in at 2 and Eller at 3. While DD is around there's no room for Eller at centre and he looks great on the GallyX2 line for regular games. Against goon teams, I'd like Prust there to stick up for them.

Trade him for a mediocre vet with a horrible contract.

It's "working" but Galchenyuk is setting Prust up like there's no tomorrow and he can't finish. Replace Prust by Patch or Eller and That line would be even more productive IMO.

Pretty much this but Therrien doesn't seem to like Eller at center so you could swap those two. I wanna see Pacioretty with the two rookies so bad...

We don't need a bridge. Makes no sense. Just let Gally develop. He's already a second line center. Throwing in another established C to block his path wouldn't solve anything. Maybe win a few extra games and move from 8th seed to 7th.

Going for another vet when we're not close to a cup wouldn't help much. Maybe going for O'Reilly might be more worth it since he'd grow with Gal and the rest.

Damn, I was hoping the Flames would get desperate enough to flip a first for him
