I had this problem. Make sure your mute switch on the side is turned off so it's not muting the iPad.
I notice the Xbox 360 app is a little choppy and not as smooth as it could be. I know this can't be a connection thing, because it works fine on my laptop and iPhone.
Apparently if your "use slide switch to" is set to "lock rotation" it may not work. How dare I ask why. Or dare dare I ask how it worked for 2 weeks when it was set to lock rotation and all of a sudden it stopped working.
Keep on keeping on NHL. Your Gamecenter service is on par with your leadership and officiating. Keep ruining this great game.
Today i was tryed to watch game replay in PS3. Picture freezes every few seconds in all games, replays and condenced. I check my internet speed and it was 5 Mb/s constantly. No problem last year and picture was much better. And scores/shots is still displayed even i disable score showing. Its no problem if i watch non-stop action, but if i want replay some moment of move forward, red scoring lines is hard to not notice.
Same problem here today. I have a 200 Mbps internet connection wired into my Playstation so the internet connection is not the issue. This is the first time I've had trouble with the app. The game was unwatchable.
Ugh, this blackout **** is really annoying. Apparently since ESPN America had the rights to the Kings-Ducks game that started at 4:30 AM here, I can't watch it until Tuesday. I doubt ESPN America was even showing the game here anyway, just like when I was blacked out from the Kings' season opener even though ESPN America was showing college basketball.
Holy crap, Gamecenter is terrible this year. I've been a GCL subscriber since 2009, and have had zero complaints with it up until this season. Thought the lag and lack of fluid video quality would go away after the first couple of days of the season, but it still persists.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Disappointed. Fix please!
Having issues with xbox live games being blacked out using un block us today.. they seem to know about it on their site and are blaming the nhl lack of server stability... anyone else dealing with this
I had massive problems trying to watch the games yesterday. Kept saying that the network didn't have sufficient bandwith or something like that. Tried it on my Xbox over the weekend though and I was impressed with that.
Can anyone get this working at all im on 100 meg broadband ..
IPAD ... video buffering
IPOD ... video buffering
APPLE TV ... video buffering
PC ... Works ok but has adds
XBOX .. video buffering
PS3 ... video buffering
IM ON 100MEG !!!! DOES THIS WORK OR NOT ???
Sounds like you should be good to go.
I have a 30/4 connection and on my PS3 GCL looks "near" HD quality and buffers/stutters very little/not at all depending on the game. My old laptop looks like crap little better than an "illegal" stream. On my Nexus 7 (connected wireless to a Netgear N600 router) I watched 2 games yesterday and it looked absolutely crystal clear with no buffering whatsoever.
Right. It's definitely not on your end, Kelmark. It's on their end. That's what I've been saying all along: that the quality of this service tends to fluctuate. It's mostly been excellent for me, though, regardless of platform.
It's just as you say: one say, the picture via Apple TV is razor-sharp, and another day it's rather poor. This difference can sometimes also be seen at the same time for 2 various games taking place simultaneously. This is normal (though regrettable) for NHL GameCenter.
