Wtf Rashad?? He should have easily won that without a camp.
Bigfoot with an awesome KO.

Both fights were surprising. As was Maia's domination.

I'm with you on that. I'm not sure who'd I want in there instead though. Bas isn't the same as he used to be.

Welterweight is getting pretty interesting now with that performance from Maia. I wonder if GSP could defend his takedowns.

Not exactly how I predicted, but Overeem definitely underestimated Big Foot and it cost him. So happy to see his overrated ass knocked out.

Can you imagine, Pettis manages to beat Aldo after Aldo gasses. Aldo then moves up to LW. Pettis and Henderson finally meet for their re-match, this time as a super fight. Aldo tears apart the LW division, getting a title shot against the winner.

Gus Johnson should replace Mike Goldberg.

When Rogan isn't biased he's fine. Anik and Rogan would be fine.

All Goldberg does is yell out one or two word phrases and Rogan lets bias creep into his commentary way too much. I could do without him blatantly cheering for fighters, especially because (I'll be honest) they are usually fighters I don't want to win.

Besides Goldberg still being a dumbass even after all these years of covering fights, the two of them call the fight according to who they want to see win, instead of just calling the fight without bias. That is my biggest complaint. Its enough to make me sick/mute the sound.

Rogan's bias is just getting out of hand anymore. I turned it off as well.

I would actually like to see Mir take over along with Anik. I would love to see Bas take over but he just isn't the same.

Great idea! This way, the UFC will have the most incredible commentator in the history of mixed martial arts!

Seriously, if we want to grab all the worst aspects of Strikeforce, Cain v Kimbo can headline the next PPV, we can give Bobby Southworth a title and half the events can be held in San Jose, CA ...

Goldberg just yells **** that doesn't make sense. Overeem a former Pride HW Champion!?

Rogan is ok, but his bias towards guys just gets severely out of hand like last night. It's why I muted it.

I see. I enjoy Goldberg's stupidity, it's entertaining. His voice is pretty distinct too.

Rogan is a bit biased but he's Joe ****ing Rogan. I don't ever want him gone.

WAR BRASIL

wow.

As for Aldo/Edgar, 49-46 was far from an outrageous score. It was either 49-46 or 48-47. Based on volume and takedown emphasis, a judge could have also scored 48-47 for Edgar. Scoring is always a crapshoot on fights like that. Any of those scores are totally reasonable.

Yes he will. He will also take him down whenever (if) he wants. But after that impressive of a performance, Maia does pose some interesting challenges for GSP. Maybe they'll screw Hendricks again and give Maia the next shot. Lol. Kidding aside though, if Hendricks loses I could see Maia getting it for sure.

I'm surprised at how many people dislike him. He is BY FAR my favorite commentator, and I like Bas too. Rogan is awesome IMO. And does he get biased at times (like last night with Edgar)? Sure. But that doesn't really bother me all that much. He's a fan, and I like that enthusiasm when he's commentating. He also is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Goldie I can take or leave. For people who aren't Rogan fans, did you watch the card where Florian and Anik (I believe) did the commentating? It was terrible in comparison.

I had it 48-47 but I agree 49-46 certainly isn't ridiculous. I can understand how someone could score it that way for sure. The main thing for me is Aldo CLEARLY won two rounds, and did far more damage overall, so even though Frankie may have edged a couple of rounds, there's no question Aldo won that fight, so I'm glad the scores reflected that.

Those are the stats for the entire fight. If you just click the 5th round Edgar landed more significant strikes, but Aldo landed more significant head strikes, so that round could really go either way.

I clicked Decision/TPR and the 5th round tab. By their metrics they had Aldo 81-46.

Ah, I see. That's interesting. That gives Edgar the 4th (which I definitely agree with), and it gives a slight edge to Aldo in the 3rd (which I probably also agree with), but wow that's a big margin in the 5th. I felt like it was much closer than that, but perhaps analyzing it in slow-mo and what not like they do tells a different story.

I wonder what is next for Frankie Edgar... 3 straight losses in title fights. He needs to go on a bit of a winning streak imo before I would like to see him get another shot. Or have him move down and fight Dominic Cruz haha.

I would love to see a Aldo vs Pettis fight. Or an Aldo vs Benson fight. Both could be amazing.
