Because he was placed on IR, Nilstorp is out a minimum of 7 days with a groin injury. The initial report was he is day-to-day so he would have probably been healthy before 1 week, but they wouldn't have been able to call up Bachs.

I haven't seen that officially, but it makes sense. They don't have to send down a player yet, and he's already not playing Tuesday.

Roy would be retroactively placed on IR last Thursday which means he should be just fine to return on Friday if he's physically ready.

We thought that as well, but they called up Roussel today. They now need to make a move to put him back on the roster so it's likely he'll at least miss Friday's game.

Roy will miss the weekend per Stepneski, and they hope he can be ready on Monday.

Pretty annoying that the guy working out under the supervision of the Stars is the one that gets the groin injury once the season starts.
