Successful weekend is successful. Not the best of win, but we had our fair share of bad loses last year, so I'll take the 2 pts thank you, especially against a division opponent.

So far so good... Keep it up!

You did not get my point.

Just sick and tired to see people worrying about ONE player (always the same) while the TEAM is winning.

Sens should be pissed. I watched the game and the whole time I was thinking that was a good goal. I'm willing to think it's justice for the Plekanec goal-interference penalty a minute into the first period which led to an Ott goal. That was not a penalty.
Also, I can't wait to see if we see this on the NHL.com headline pretty soon:
"NHL rescinds no goal to Sens' Silfverberg"

Great weekend for sure. I know today's win was controversial but we would have at least had one point, so I guess we got a point without playing 5 extra minutes.
Great to see Cole and DD playing much better.

Not really true. If we kill the penalty no goal. They still had to earn it.

According to the rule for goaltender interference, the right call was made.

I imagine they will try to intimidate us so I hope we don't lose our cool. We certainly can't out punch them either so don't be silly.

To win you need good players. To have good players we need to develop them.

Seriously, I don't even see why you are posting... If you're just going to come here and try and squeeze your idea into our mind... We are, for most, a group of rational hockey fans. Sure we have our favorites players and all but atleast we try to bring some argument that have sense...

Crosby has had 98329832898329 multi-point games... Do they count ?

I watch the same hockey as you. Yeah he had a three point night. And he had a multi goal game last year. But he did nothing before and after that. My point. Good that you think he will be the next big thing. But he is a bust. And that is not only from me, but from management as well.

It is absolutely impossible for you, me or anybody else, to have a read on Eller. Just remember that hockey is played on confidence, pure talent and on experience. There is just no way that Eller even knows which position he should feel confortable in since we haven't had the chance to give a regular spot to him. The kid does have the talent, but can't build some kind of confidence to get it going. I do personnally question his hockey sense....but again, I need to see him regularly on the same position before making a decision on him. We're not there yet.

He's done quite well. It goes further than point. He was our shutdown guy last season. He had 12 goals if you dont count his big night all that playing no PP time, about 15 minutes of play against most of the opposing teams best forwards, playing with Moen(Good shutdown player but he can't score.) and AK for the most part.

And if you watched him play last year, and this while being critical and not biased, you wouldve seen that he was really good with AK offensively AND defensively.

Now, If you don't acknowledge that

Looking at Wednesday, just because of the physicality of the game, will White be back and Armstrong sit?

No one thinks he's the next big thing. Eller is just the type of player every team needs. A big type of dude who can swallow 3rd as well 2nd line minutes on certain occasions.

Did the Danish give you diabetes or something?
