In a ranking It would probably be

Richards/Kesler
Duchene
Staal

I could see Duchene being a better player in the future though, he's still only 22 I think.

Duchene's the most fun to watch and has the most dynamic game breaking talent, Kesler has put in the best playoff performance to date from those ones, Richards has been the best in terms of what he's accomplished so far but I see his offense going down a bit, Staal might be anywhere between the 50ish pt player on Pittsburgh to 70 pts with a good 2-way game.

Depends on what your team needs I think. If you need someone to go out there and create or score goals then Duchene but he's unproven in the playoffs. Kesler or J Staal if you need an ideal 2-way centre and already have a high end top 6 fwd, and Mike Richards if you want some physicality+pts+proven playoff performance but he's more of a complimentary star.

Duchene plays a much different game then the other 3, but I think when he is on top of his game he's the best.

On top of his game Kesler is a 40-goal Selke winner.

Kesler
Richards
Duchene
Staal

right now with Kesler/Richards being close and Duchene/Staal being close.

In time Duchene could overtake one or both of Kesler/Richards but he has a ways to go yet.

Any list that doesn't have Kesler at the top is a joke. His ceiling on offence and defence is the best of the bunch so far.

better question is why is Duchene on a list with defensive centers?
hes a totally different type of player than the others.

I'm assuming its more about second line type centers rather than defensive centers, but yes, I agree.
