Longshot to make the team in any capacity, IMO.

I've seen him play a few times and I don't think this is true at all.

He stands out with his speed, IQ, and a good shot. He's a tremendous talent I'd project him as a 2nd line scoring winger.

Great late pick by the Pens.

Just wondering how this guy's progression is coming along.
Hockeys Future says he needs to work on his overall game but has an elite scoring touch. I see he's played a bunch of games between Wheeling and Wilkes Barre. WBS and Wheeling watchers, is this guy the real deal? Has he shown progression enough to make you think he'll crack the big-time lineup?

reminds me of this thread:

what do we know? more like, what can we know?

we know that the dough is rising, but the biscuit is far from cooked.

imagine melted butter and a smattering of gooseberry preserves running down the sides of a warm, flaky crust. i think there's something to look forward to in regards to this particular prospect.

He's scored a few for WBS. Only been a minus once or something. Coaching staff down there loves him. That's it.

All I know is, he's the uncontested steal of the 2012 draft and should be put on Malkin's wing IMMEDIATELY.

I just got ravenously hungry for stuff I don't have in the house....

He's coming off a pretty big injury. As long as he's ok this season, next year is when I expect to find out what kind of player we have on our hands.

It's top 6 or nothing with this guy IMO. Boom or bust kid for sure.

I don't feel that way about him being top six or bust.

I easily could see him being the complimentary piece for the 3rd line. I want to say he could be a much lesser version of a Marty Straka but Zlobin's a pure winger where Straka was a C and W. It's like the report says in the Sporting News, can he handle the riggers of the NHL rough game? Some can and some can't, or refuse, too.

I'm hoping he can translate his game to the NHL, for more than just his cool name. Just a great pick, maybe our diamond in the rough.

The kid is dedicated to rounding out his game so he can be relied upon as a 2-way winger and not just a one dimensional winger. He's not going to blow people away and make the team later this year, but he might be a guy that you write off this year, then feel like an idiot when he's in camp and determined to prove people wrong and does just that.

Reminds me of the naysayers about P.Samuelsson and Gibbons...I'll stick with what's worked for me and say this kid with his work ethic, will make the NHL some day soon. I am 2 for 2 so far after seeing those 2 kids play.

What has either guy really proven, especially Samuelsson. They have 24 hockey games between them

I was told here when I talked about them that getting even that many games wasn't a possibility.

So really, they've proven to get to the dance, when everyone else told me they never would get that invite.

But I will allow the glass half empty crew to continue their thing. I don't want to be a party poopah.

Juneau went to RPI not knowing English too well and still got his engineering degree in 3 years. The man is a genius.

I'm kinda curious: what happened with this guy this season? He was great in the last AHL playoffs. Is he injured or what? Only 6 games played since october...
