Gonna be a tough one. The guys better play a full 60 or it could get ugly.

Question. Would anyone consider putting in White instead of Army for the game?

It's a tough one.. On one hand yes for fighting/checking wise, but we also really need the 2pts and he has taken some very costly pents and that could change the game

I would, Armstrong hasn't done much so far this year but he is a favorite of Therrien so doubt he makes that switch

That's my thinking. Army has been a pretty weak link and Montreal could use White's feisty play against Boston. Still, penalties could kill Montreal against a team like Boston. I still think you through in White, he's had some time to think on his bad penalties and he's the kind of guy that can get under the Bruins' skin.

I expect White to be in and Eller to sit. Tough luck for Eller, but that's the reality of a team with actual depth.

Ahh Good ol' Boston. The team that brings out the habs fans insecurities. Habs will win if they stick to playing hockey. If they play Boston's game they will lose.

I think its time to both Gorges and Subban back together, keep Subban on the 2nd unit of the pp. Get him back to playing 23-25 min a game, along with how Markov has been playing, that is 50min of either Markov or Subban on the ice

Edit: one fight I wanna see is Bouillon kicking Ference ass

Depth is not some catch-all excuse to sit good players for inferior ones.

Keeping Prust on my fantasy team until Thursday...

Hoping for a huge game from PK, Max and Galchenyuk (I hope Gally can become a Bs killer for years to come)

Can not wait for this game, almost as excited for MiG's first GDT to be honest, I had greater plans for mine yesterday but life got in the way.

I'm in favor of playing White, but I hope it's at the expense of Armstrong and not Eller.

I would say that depth is the reason a guy like White, or Armstrong will sit, as they are clearly 4th liners that shouldn't get a ton of ice time.

Whereas Eller is the offensive threat that plays the PK and is very responsible defensively.

Is armstrong really a favorite of Therrien? Is he the next darche? Anyways, army hasn't done anything to cost this team and not costing the team is just as important as winning it.

No, but depth means that Eller has not won a spot on the top 3 lines. That means that in certain match-ups he will probably sit.

I'm a big fan of Eller, but White needs to get some games and I think this is one of them. In other games, I see Eller on the 4th line, and switching places with Prust often, especially when Habs have last change.

Perhaps, if Eller were small or a poor defensive player. He isn't. He can play on a 4th line for a good team. I'd rather have him in the line-up over White or Army if we need to shuffle the lines. He's been just as physical as Army and brings more offense and overall skill to the lineup. Why have him out over Armstrong?

I am sorry to step in your Eller discussion,

But I just wanted to make sure. Everybody talks about Division Lead. Does it mean we have no chance to grab conference lead on Wednesday?

I think MT has to view it as a battle between Army and White for PT. While Army hasn't done much he's also responsible and is a good PKer. White brings more energy and can scrap, but he has also made some costly mental mistakes that perhaps cost this team both of it's losses so far.

Moen has been pretty much completely invisible too. I don't think he get's sat though.

Was just about to mention this game. Eller stays in the lineup, as for White, I'd sit out either Moen or Armstrong, but preferably Armstrong

Is that the same game White beat the snot out of Boychuk for going after Subban's knee?
