Vanek has 3 points so far after two periods against Florida. He's having an incredible start to the season.

So if Seattle gets a team are they really going to call it the Seattle Totems? Really? That sounds so bad. Before they were the "Totems" in the WHL they were the Ironmen, Bombers, and Americans. Any of those names are exponentially better then te dumbass Totems.

They should go with their current WHL name, the Thunderbirds. Ironmen sounds good, too, though.

I think the name should be Seattle Metropolitans and I don't even know why it's a debate. That should be the name hands down.

Bombers is cool too though

Ironmen was the nickname of the pro basketball team in Pittsburgh around the time of the NBA's infancy (or merger with the other pro league).

Pittsburgh Penguins: GM Ray Shero's big offseason move was dealing Jordan Staal to Carolina for Brandon Sutter. So far, Sutter has one goal while Staal has yet to score as a Hurricane. Considering Sutter carries one-third the cap hit of Staal, the Penguins have to be happy with this deal two weeks into the season.
I find that really funny.

I guess Jordan isn't actually a first line center buried on the Pens roster as claimed by certain fans.

Bleh. Well that does decrease the muscle and size on the Rangers. And I'd love to see Powe fight Rinaldo.

It increases the number of guys who go fast and run into things, though.

Had gamecenter last year. The Toronto game is on right now. Didn't pay. Does anyone know if it is auto renew?

Checked my credit card, no charge as of yet.

Powe is a tank. Only 5'6, but build like a fire hydrant.

Thanks, found the charge. Don't mind it, but would have been sweeter if it was for free haha.

He's listed at 5'11 everywhere... numbers are fudged often, but not to the degree of 5 inches. <insert joke here>

Maybe a slight exaggeration, but I've stood next to him and I'm a good bit taller. I'm only 5'9.

Justin Faulk is going to be a really good player in this league. I always come away impressed by him when I watch the Canes.

Sick. Same. So I guess if I played hockey they would list me as 6'0 or 6'1.

A few years back if you wanted to grow taller you just became a Montreal Canadien, they literally added 2 inches to each player a few years back!
