Its his first season as assistant so hopefully he figures it out soon or someone else does.
It don't understand it at all. Barrie is very gifted offensively, decent at transition defense and pretty weak at stationary defense and you start him in a spot where he doesn't get to play transition defense and mostly stationary defense.

It's almost as if they're setting him up to fail so they can say they tried it and it didn't work. Maddening.

Indeed, not to mention sitting him in the press box for multiple games. Play the kid or send him down. He needs minutes.

Sacco confirms Barrie is a healthy scratch.

Sacco confirms the D-lines: (Sacco said O'Brien on the off-wing, so I assume on the right side?)
Hunwick-EJ
Hejda-O'Brien
Zanon-O'Byrne

Pylons everywhere

Jones still out, Landy no change.

Why on earth is Quinn not our defensive coach? I thought that was his background?

It has been apparent for quite some time Sacco doesn't know what he is doing.

Because that's logical.

Just about the only person on Avalanche staff I have faith in, is Richard Pracey.

Good god.

And yeah O'brien played the right side with Quincey to start the year last year if I remember right so I wouldn't be surprised to see him there again.

We're showcasing O'Brien? Right? Please?

Also, Joe Sacco!

Sacco is trying to replace Wilson's physicality im sure, but SOB better play out his ass. I'd much rather them call up someone hungry like Gaunce and see how he fairs till Wilson is healthy again.

Last two games I've predicted a lose for the Avs. Wondering if the reverse jynx continues...

3-2 Stars.

Gaunce has unfortunately been pretty bad with LEM this year. Hasn't really earned a callup, a bit of Stoa syndrome I guess.

O'Brien is the only guy who actually tries to clear the crease. This is probably the nicest thing I will say about him all year.

Sad to hear, The few games I watched during the lockout he looked better, took some dumb penalties but I hope the kid pulls it together. We need that dman with a mean streak.

This is the first team I think we're "supposed" to beat. Dallas' defense is not very good.

Therefore I think we will lose. 4-3 Stars in OT, Loui Eriksson with a hat trick and the OT winner since he seems to destroy us, atleast recently

Don't forget Columbus. They were supposed to go 0-48 this year.

I still think we'll win this one on the shoulders of Varly, Duchene, EJ, and PAP. Sound familiar?

4-1 Avs, Sgarbossa, Duchene, McPing, Stastny(EN) with the goals. PAP with 2 Apples.
