Boy Nashville was bad tonight. Almost identical to their game against us. Their offense is just...bad.

Pittsburgh at home tonight looks terrible, losing 4-0 to the Islanders. Fluery was pulled after the 2nd period and replaced by Vokoun.

Minnesota defeats CHI in a shootout, Sharp rang one of the post to end it. The wheels are coming off up there I feel it

Carolina wins 1-0 could be a scary team if Cam Ward gets it figured out

1. If San Jose regains their former form, it would be an interesting playoff series between us (same with anaheim).

2. I hope edmonton makes the playoffs, and we destroy them in the first round.

3. What if LA's lackluster seasonal play catches up to them and prevents them from gaining a playoff spot this year? They barely squeezed in last year...

what sucks most about yesterdays loss is that if the Wings win tonight they are just one point behind us
i know its early to count every point but I want them far away from competing for a top central-division spot early

so lets go BJs...at least for tonight

BJs took it to the Wings pretty good tonight. This makes me very happy Let's go Flame while we're at it!

A team "underperformed" while on the road in a back-to-back scenario against a rested team?

I feel like there's a useful lesson in perspective in there somewhere.

Ian Walsh was in Toronto blowing calls there. Seriously. What a terrible weekend for him.

Kunitz got a hatty today? Congrats to him, I thought he only had 2 until I just rechecked the stats.

BTW, I thought Holtby was the goalie of the future?

Seems to always a happen a young goalie comes in plays well then fads off. Not saying for sure that will happen but it is tough to make it as an NHL starter and stick. He also is currently with not a very good NHL team.

If I remember correctly he is supposed to miss 2 months, so its most of the year but not the whole year

Why exactly did they dump their coach and switch to Adam Oates? I haven't heard the story on that one.

Dale Hunter didn't want to return to coach them this season. So they never dumped him he just didn't want the job. He's a co-owner of the London Knights I also think he is their President so he decided to focus on them instead of coaching in the NHL. He is also coaching the Knights again as well.

I watch a lot of hockey. And when I watch Western Conference teams, a lot of times I don't have a rooting interest. I'm just rooting against a 3 point game. But dammit if they don't happen almost every time.
