price is in.

therrien would be high to put budaj again to let history repeat itself. sure he didn't singlehandedly create it, but did nothing to help it. i hope the next time budaj plays, he again looks like a goalie who hadn't played in 10 months..because he will not have played in 10 months.

2. Gorges - otherwise known as Mr Clichee, gives all the basic run of the mill answers. Great player on the ice, but sure proved during the lockout that he's better off to keep his trap shut as most of the stuff outside the clichees he says sounds pretty stupid.

3. Markov - still haven't heard him phrase a sentence longer than 5 words. Perhaps it's a language thing. But who am I to judge, after all, he's only been living in Canada and working in an English system for ~ 15 years........

What I have learnt about PK Subban off the ice: He gets involved in the community and gives amazing interviews without a script.

I think that the Plekanec, Gorges and Markov should strive to be more like PK instead of letting their insecurities get the best of them.
You gotta give up your man crush on Subban.

We'll find out when Habtchum replies! How exciting to have this insight into the minds of Plekanec, Gorges and Markov available to us.

No it's him saying "we are a team". Not showboat individuals.

A big LOL to all of you who are willing to throw other Habs players under the bus for one player.

Can't believe how we're still with the mentality of cheering fake stars in Montreal. Just like you did with Kovy.

The triple low 5 didn't bother me at all, but I have to say that the reason given by Therrien is something I respect. Humility in victory.

Anyway, as long as he has them playing the way they are, I really don't give a crap what rules he has.

It's too bad that hockey players aren't allowed to have personalities.

Kovalev was our best player over those 4 seasons.

Kovalev only dominated in one of those 4 seasons in 07-08. Markov was our best player in 08-09 he had 64pts and Kovalev had 65pts.

Smart move...PK thought he was more important than the team. His post-game celebration was bush-league...something which is normal in minor league hockey...
but not at the pro level. His celebration put the onus on HIMSELF and PRICE...for me that is showing off...and it was at the detriment of the team approach.

I'm perfectly bilingual (english and french)...wasn't trying to make fun of Therrien but just trying to prove a point by using his haccent. I wasn't being too serious...just trying to defend Subban. I don't wave the Quebec flag nor the Canadian flag...but I'll wave the international flag! I don't take nationalism/patriotism and all that stuff too seriously.

I love Les Rock et Belles Oreilles (they made fun of english, french, everyone, everything...they didn't exclude anyone...all for fun humor).

I swear I'm not a redneck!
I do sometimes call Don Cherry an American redneck (to me Cherry is more of a loud and proud patriotic American vs a humble/polite Canadian...but that's just imo.

It actually is trivial in most contexts, but Therrien used it as a lesson teaching moment to emphasize focusing on achieving the team's goals.

I doubt this is particularly traumatizing event for P.K, but fans desperately have Beiber-like fanboy issues and want their player to have what they think is the player's personality over understanding acts that help win games.

Dumb move imo
If you had ever leaded very structurally you would know it's far from dumb.

I've to deal with cliques all the time myself to bring a sense of teamwork at my job, I can relate.

Here's a pretty great piece mythbusting some CBC whisper campaigns against PK:

Elliotte Friedman just defended PJ Stock's comments (PK being hated by pretty much the whole team). He said that PJ does his research and he won't say things without legitimate sources.

I still think it was exaggerated.

Where did he say that?

Also, I am with Stubbs on this one, Stock's piece was typical BS from a bruins fan

It's ironic how each of those remarks can be thrown right back at Stock at an even greater magnitude.
