I'm actually excited to see FBJ on the wing tonight, even in limited minutes.

Suter seems to be getting used to a new system with new line mates. Has seemed to click with Brodin the best so far. Points will come (hopefully).

Granlund needs to put on 15-20 pounds of pure muscle IMO. He has been getting tossed around and knocked off the puck a ton. Think he's learning to process the game at the faster rate it goes. He'll adapt eventually.

Anyways just wanted to know what's up with Suter and Granlund (at least points wise)? Haven't watched a lot of Wild hockey so far this year and obviously the teams doing pretty well but I drafted those two on my fantasy team and I've already dropped Granlund and I'm starting to consider dropping Suter. Wondering if you think I should pick up Granlund again at some point, will he get it going? and more importantly will Suter start picking up the pace points wise or has he settled back into a more defensive role in Minny?

any feedback is appreciated thanks in advance!
Nice to see a level-headed Nucks fan for a change

My guess is that Suter is still adapting to the new system. He didn't really do well when paired with Spurgeon and Gilbert but he's with Jonas Brodin now and they're looking good together. He also receives a ton of PP time so that's a help for his point totals.

I'd say keep him, drop Granlund and acquire Brodin.

Not sure about Granlund.

Suter has been looking better the last few games, and was on an IV because he was sick with food poisoning for the first few games, so that didn't really help his play.

Shocked by the trade of Palmieri, the Wild struggle to find their game tonight, Cullen falls down, Granlund drops his stick, Clutterbuck shoots high and Wide. Koivu kicked out of face off circle, Suter allows goals while on the ice, and Coyle stuns the world, by looking like a rookie in his first ever NHL game, by scoring no points and taking 4 minutes in "out of place" type penalties.

Wild lose 4-1 (was 3-1 until Torres gets empty Net goal in final 20 seconds) The only Wild goal is by Brodin, off a deflection in the 2nd period.

Nick Johnson scores twice, and also elbows Parise in the head, causing him to become the latest in a long list of hated players.

He wants to see how Setoguchi and Granlund react to a clear "message." #mnwild
What is that message? That they're not trying? Yes they are. That they should be better? I think they already know that... Yeo is the one needing a message from someone. His gameplan is a mess, he doesn't react quick enough when lines aren't clicking (and when he is, the masterplan looks like tonights lineup...).

Well, I really hope it turns out okay for both Granlund and Wild. I have real sympathy for the team.

I don't believe Nick Johnson is a 4th liner in PHX.

He was playing with Vermette + on the PP in the last 2 Yotes games I watched.

well what good is trying if your constantly being a liability and not getting any results?

I dont think that Yeo is looking for a "try really really hard' reponse. I think he would rather see them take care of their responsibilities and go from there. Playing on the fourth line isn't a worse case sernario for Granlund. This way he isn't so overwhelmed by second line center minutes with second line match ups. Yeo can lower Granlunds responsibilities and just let the kid take a step back and learn at a pace that isn't going to hurt him or the team.

Something had to be done. In any case Im excited to see how Sir Charles does tonight!

Odds Morris sucker punches someone like he did vs. EDM?

Unlikely I'd say.

LOVE IT! Finally someone who is not hesitating to make that space for our most skilled player, this is great move really is. Just put someone who can actually create something to that other wing.. and make that line 2nd or 3rd not 4th.

Sounds like Charlie Coyle's family couldn't make #nhl debut. Flight canceled out of Boston. He was expecting parents, 2 sisters, gf & cuz
