The problem is that in the current incarnation of the Canucks, this doesn't really help us the way it usually would. With Kesler and Booth, we have a strong second line that we can put out against a weak-ass Potter/Fistric pairing that can feast on those guys while the top pairing has to deal with the Sedins. I don't think the Oil are going to be TOO upset having to have the soft underbelly of the roster contend with the likes of - GASP - Mason Raymond and Jordan Schroeder.
I feel like this game is going to go to whoever scores more goals on the PP.
RW looked no different that some of our D in that video clip. Did you see the remark in the article saying that there were only 5 teams in the conference better than Edmonton? Let's see...SJ, Chi, Van. StL, LA... All the rest are behind Edm? OK.

Seriously? He looks like he's playing beer league. Can't skate, sits in no-man's land and lets Duchene pick up a puck unopposed and fire a pass through his legs. Pathetic.

Well, PITB and other Canucks blogs like to talk up the Canucks as well, so it's not surprising. But he said only five were "definitely" better. Others may be, but it's not obvious or beyond all doubt. Yes - I'd say VAN / CHI / CHI / STL are clearly better, LA is too (something is a mess with that team right now but the pieces are all still there).
But what other teams are "definitely" better than Edmonton right now? You could make an argument for Anaheim and maybe Detroit, even though the Wings' defense is decimated, maybe even Phoenix, but none of them is "definitely" better.
