Race had absolutely NOTHING to do with it. He had to show Price in order to show what Subban was doing wrong. I believe he may have included Price in his point as well. He also mentioned that EDM will eventually tell Yakupov to stop the excess celly's too.

And I loved how he reminded us that HE & not Boudreau was the 1st to 250 wins as there were no shootouts back in the day,.

My comment was somewhat sarcastic but I am very puzzled why Subban gets all of the criticism for an act that involves two people.

Because it was something Subban has been doing for a long time before Price

I agree with you, I also believe Price should get criticism as well.

Price should get most of the criticism.

He's from B.C. while Subban is a good old Ontario boy.

Play Hockey for a few years and you'll find out for yourself.

I like Coach's Corner better when Cherry points out actual plays and the little things most others don't pick up on.

Now it's just repetitive and him pointing out random crap like this guy got this fact wrong or this player isn't celebrating the right way. Hopefully CBC brings on Kelly Hrudey or some other guy who actually provides som actual analysis of plays once Cherry's replaced.

When I played I never had as much joy as when I could stand in the crease with the goalie on the ice and celebrate a goal. It was pretty disrespectful, I must say, and it totally infuriated the goalies. I did it just to be an antagonistic ******* - and it worked.

There is a code, and some people (former me included) just don't care.

"Watch the points! Cover the points!"

Did he say anything worthy of note during the later game?

First, according to the Code, the Code must never be written down.

Secondly you must be a player for the Player’s Code to apply… and you’re not.

And thirdly the Code is more about guidelines than actual rules.

And when I played I used to love tuning guys like you up! But you served a purpose, usually you pissed the other team off so much it united them to want to beat the team guys like you played for! Good job Maverick!

How big a deal is a low five anyway? It is just a mother****ing dumb dinosaur trying to impose his will on today's players.

The two best hockey media types get the most ****. Not sure why. Pierre McGuire and Don Cherry - love 'em both.

Cherry isn't the media. He's an entertainer whose gimmick is to be controversial. That's why he gets so much ****.

I hope you're referring to Coach Therrien, considering he, you know, implemented it.

How dare a coach try to impose his will on his players! Dumb dinosaur.
