The funny thing is, I HATE raves and clubbing. HATE it. Way too loud, way too sweaty, and way too much drugs/alcohol going on. I love going to a bar, but I hate the club/rave scene, yet I love the music.

Except that Chuck has totally lost it on the lyric writing front. "Pure American Hate"?? Really Chuck? Really??

I love the re-recorded/re-mastered version. Practice What You Preach is so good. If they remastered that whole album, I'd probably be in amazement. Down For Life is another favorite by Testament.

Well yeah his lyrical..ness has fallen. But the music is still stellar. I feel like Testament is severely/was severely underrated.

Bob Richards likes to wear nice clothes. He likes to dance. He likes shiny lights, He even is okay with dance music and he likes girls.

Mix them all together and Bob Richards is not a happy camper.

OK, so this is the first night I've ever been really active in here. So ****ing hard to keep up

I'm totally the same CCP. Never been a club guy. Pretentious statement of the night: I like the music for the music's sake. Not for the scene that comes with it.

Very underrated. I spent an entire summer after my junior year of high school in the car visiting colleges and listening to Low and nothing else.

Didn't expect to find another Wren fan on here. They're practically the definition of underground. Nostalgia is one of my favorite albums. I'll post another one from Soup.

I think I'm you, just younger. I live at home cause UB is 30 minutes away, but during my orientation week (had to be in dorms.), I had my ihome and during our down time, I'd have either Fabulous Disaster from Exodus on, or The Gathering/The Legacy on my Testament.

All my music is to mainstream.

I guess I listened to Mumford and Sons before Babel was #1 on iTunes

Nothing wrong with some Mumford and Sons. Or maybe that's just because I lived in Nashville for 2 years and couldn't avoid them. At all. Them or The Avett Brothers.

Loved Machine Head for what they were originally. Before everyone thought they were beastly. When everyone thought Machine Head was just rap metal because Kerry King said so. AKA before Through the Ashes of Empires. It's all about the Blood, the Sweat, the Tears.

I still love them for what they've become too. Rob Flynn is just incredible.

I saw them for the first time in 2011 and was blown away. Flynn is a master.

Their live show has always been amazing. He knows how to work the crowd so well. I saw them about a half dozen times in the early 00s. Never disappointed.

They play with so much energy and the crowd was crazy. I had floor seats right up against center stage. It was surreal.

I saw them in concert when I was really young, and Over the Wall was amazing. I've been hooked ever since.
I can dig it.

It's too confusing.

Someone like you would have your work cut out for you to figure out how you could talk in the 2nd person.

(Only one of those "you"s is actually referring to Bob Richards.)

I absolutely sucked at Guitar Hero at first... until I stopped trying to play it like a guitar. It got a lot easier after that.

Speaking of which... GW, what gear do you have?
