Gunnarsson is out with a hip injury and Carlyle loves Kulemin, he's been arguably the Leafs best forward not named Kadri or Frattin.. I'd be surprised to see Kulemin moved for anything short of an overpayment..

In my opinion, MacArthur and Holzer have been made available for the right price.

We're selling everyone except Kadri, Gardiner, Rielly, Frattin, JVR, Kulemin, Komarov

There were 18 in Buffalo yesterday: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1340769

Seeing as the other games today are in Col, Phx, Edm, and Ana, it just makes geographical sense.

They're not worth any of the 7 pieces I listed though, the rest of the Oilers are fair game for them.

Do they all have to be scouting the same player?

I don't see the Bruins offering either of those to be honest. I'd assume they do a 2nd and b prospect at best.

That's because most Leaf fans are idiots. The other half has been rallying for Kadri ever since he got sent down to the Marlies for the first time.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kadri is on the trading block. Despite being a good prospect, I'm not so sure he fits a Carlyle team. Or even a Nonis team for that matter.

Are all scouts obligated to be in the same press box? I don't get the head count thing, that sounds... somewhat nasty.

Specially when people go "nuts" about it.

Why not? Sharks would be very, very interested.

Ha.

Kadri isn't going anywhere.

Edit: you can tell who watches the games and who doesn't. Give me one reason why the leafs should trade Kadri.
And before you say he is soft, think again.

Yesterday only had 4 games.

Toronto is in the East and a lot of scouts are from the GTA area. Buffalo has 18 scouts the night before and is a short drive from Toronto.

Toronto is projected to not be a playoff team and Carolina is on the edge so they might even end up being sellers.

The Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal AHL team) and the Marlies also play today so scouts can take that game in and sleep at the same hotel again. Connolly is an interesting piece for a lot of teams to take a chance on and the Habs might also be sellers at the deadline.

ATM the available Leafs should be: Connolly, CMac, Franson, Holzer (we need to wait till our D gets a bit healthier before we trade a dman though as we've got Gunnar, Komi and Gardiner all out at the moment. Steckel can be had for a bag of pucks. Closer to the deadline the Leafs might also deal Bozak if he won't reink at a fair price.

Kulemin would be a great pickup for any team, he needs a change scenery.

I love him in T.O and he's the only current roster player i have a jersey of, but he really needs a new place to play. Alot of the players do.

Kulemin could come back to life on a real team

What would Carolina want for J. Jokinen? I mean in general, not from any specific team. He could be a nice addition to someone's 2nd line.

He'd be a nice addition to Carolina's 2nd line. Problem is that Carolina has NO option for a 3C if they lose Jokinen. He really is better off as a top 6 player as that fits his skill-set better, but he's kind of "taking one for the team" playing in a 3C, more defensive role with defensive wingers.

If Carolina could find a valid 3C, then I think they'd move him back into the top 6.

Not true. Why don't you take a look back. Many other fan bases were calling him garbage and a bust -- typical. Read my post history. I've always said the kid needs a chance and he played well when given limited ice. He's still getting very few minutes.

Clearly they all car-pooled up from Buffalo the other day as well.
