Elliotte Friedman just defended PJ Stock's comments (PK being hated by pretty much the whole team). He said that PJ does his research and he won't say things without legitimate sources.
I still think it was exaggerated.
Friedman works with PJ so I can see him defending him.
Interesting to see where this feud between Stubbs and PJ will go.
It's ironic how each of those remarks can be thrown right back at Stock at an even greater magnitude.
Sadly his IQ level prevents him from understanding words with longer than 5 letters. Stock is 20x the tool that Cherry can be on his worst day, they can't be keeping him around for ratings; so how does he still have a job
Stock presented something like hearsay and conjecture, not really making any specific claim - but making damaging claims.
Stubbs laid out his rebuttal with some facts.
Stock just came back with ad hominems and an insult - wouldn't the journalistic, professional, and logical thing to do be to present his own facts? Especially now that he is staking Friedman's rep on his claims?

All Friedman really said was that PJ does do research. I.e. he didn't make it up. Friedman also was clear that he probably wouldn't disagree with what Stubbs would have to say about the Habs dressing room.
I'd believe that, I just wouldn't trust PJ to give a good interpretation of the research he does.

I think he needs a debate talk with you. I would pity your ears though
PJ Stock doesn't even deserve the attention he's getting right now. He needs to just shut the **** up.
He certainly wastes no opportunities to talk faeces about the Habs. I think he resents not having his number retired after playing 20 games in Montreal.
PJ Stock and the entire CBC over the last at least 10 years have existed for no other purpose than to try and bring down the Habs.
Seriously.
HNIC Habs vs Bruins games have been sounding like a Bruins game coverage for a long time. It's a bit insulting, and not just to Habs fans. Some people do like to watch HNIC to see Canadian teams play, because we follow them (even if we "hate" them ^_^).
Anyhow, thank god for Stubbs' article. Gave me hope back for our media.

I've worked 37 years in journalism to earn my reputation & credibility. Neither has been dented tonight. Thanks to all for your passion
Good on Stubbs for not getting sucked into a flame war with Stock.
