Would you guys deal Cammalleri?

I'm a Leaf fan that has always liked Cammalleri.

What would it take for us to acquire him?

How about something like this.....

To LA: Tucker, Antropov, Earl, Tellqvist

To Toronto: Cammalleri, Tukonen

I thought you guys could use some scoring and leadership in Tucker. Antropov might play well with fellow countryman, Frolov. Earl is a solid prospect, climbing up the ranks. Tellqvist gives you a solid backup for Garon.

Toronto needs speed in Cammalleri and they also need to stock their prospect pool in Tukonen.

Thoughts?

You don't have to like the deal. I was just wondering what you Kings fans thought.

No offense, but thats a pretty awful proposal.

The Kings are trading the 2 most valuable players (trade wise).

And with the trading of Demitra, Cammalleri becomes the Kings most talented forward, I don't see him being moved.

I just figure you guys could use some depth.

Antropov is good for a 1/2 a point a game and who knows, maybe he'd play well with Frolov and get more points? Antropov would be the wild card that could make the deal potentially.

Tucker is solid.

Earl is a solid B level prospect with upside and Telly gives you a potential 1a/1b tandem with Garon. That's just how i saw it I guess.

I'd take Cammalleri and Tukonen over Antropov and Tucker. Neither is an upgrade from the Kings point of view.

And I'd also take Labarbera over Tellqvist.

Well, Cammalleri is going to be a large part of the Kings youth-oriented offense next season, so I'm not sure there is an appropriate deal there.

cammy has some pretty incredible moves, I'd hate to see him go before we can see more. Also during one broadcast they put a mic on him and it appears that he is a great leader and could be a possible captain down the road.

If, and that's a *big* if, the Kings were to trade Cammalleri, the return would have to be either a stud defensive prospect, or a young forward of similar quality (think Havlat).

The Kings are rebuilding/reloading, and after having just signed Scott Thornton and Alyn McCauley, there's no need for vets like Tucker or Antropov.
